EMMA B&B is a budget, family-run, Tuscan Bed & Breakfast that is ideal for those who want to travel and visit the town of Lucca, enjoy the genuine, local atmosphere of the place, for a reasonable price. Our guest house is located in the immediate nearby of Lucca centre, just a few hundreds metres from the Medieval Walls (Porta Elisa is the nearest gate, which is reachable just in 4 minutes on foot).
The B&B has been recently renovated in rustic style and has a garden area, in the front and in the back, where during the summer guests can enjoy their breakfast or simply relax. There is also a free parking area, the possibility of renting bikes at cheap price, and just around the corner a bus service is provided, connecting to various areas of Lucca and to the station.
Our rooms are single, double, triple, and on the last floor there is a private penthouse that can be also rented for weeks or for a month. The rooms are decorated in cream, blue, and magenta colours and refurbished in rustic Tuscan style, all equipped with heating and air conditioning system, TV, bath products, towels, hair drier and coffe facilities
Guests will be welcomed by the local host (we speak English, Spanish and German)that will be pleased to help and give directions, information on the city and the local attractions. Interesting places that are worth visiting, besides Lucca city centre, are the near town of Garfagnana, Viareggio, Pisa, Pistoia, San Gimignano, Firenze, etc. All these towns can be reached by train, by car or by bus in half an hour, one hour.
We provide Italian breakfast and continental breakfast, lunch or dinner based on typical, Tuscan specialities. We provide a free transfert service to/from the sation at your arrival-previous notice to the host - and baby-sitting and aereoport transfert service at extra charge.
We kindly ask to contact the owner once the booking is done to let us know your arrival check-in time (by e-mail or mobile) and request the free pick up service at the station. Normally our check-in time is.....................and check-out............
