Enjoy the unique experience of living on a boat with all the creature comforts and make it your “home from home” during your stay in the heart of Barcelona.
A double master cabin with ensuite bathroom and a two berth forward cabin, equally with its own bathroom facilities, make it ideal for a family, two couples or a group of friends! The spacious salon and fully equipped kitchen will allow you to create and enjoy your own gourmet meals.
Coffee, Tea and water are provided free of charge and we can stock the boat with any additional requirements you may have. Email us your shopping list ahead of time and we will make sure everything is ready for your arrival.
Port Olimpic was built in 1992 for the summer Olympics and since then it has become one of the main hubs of activity in the city. Although it is still a working marina, it has a wide variety of restaurants, bars and a casino that offer options to suit everyone’s taste. Enjoy a cocktail in the famous Kennedy’s Bar, where you can also watch all the big sporting events on a big screen TV. Dine in style in the highly reputed “La Fonda” or “Cangrejo Loco” restaurants or enjoy a pizza with the family from one of the only pizzerias in the city with a traditional wood-burning oven.
Sport and Recreational Facilities abound in and around Port Olimpic.. Take a short stroll over to the famous Barceloneta beaches and bask in the sunshine on the boardwalk. Dingy sailing, windsurfing, and diving classes are all available and we can arrange Jet Ski and bike rentals. Barcelona enjoys an average of 2,777 hours of sunshine every year, so weather permitting we can arrange sailing or fishing excursions. For those who prefer more sedentary activities, there is a multi screen movie theater within walking distance showing movies in their original version, and for the shopaholics you will find one of Barcelona’s many shopping Malls, Diagonal Mar nearby.
Barcelona is of course renowned for its tourist attractions and for the Gaudi aficionados amongst you there is a wealth of wonderful sites to see either on foot or an easy bus ride away. Hop on to the City Tour Buses, which stop in Port Olimpic to get an overview of the city sites. Las Ramblas, Plaza Cataunya, Passeig de Gracia, Sagrada Familia, Parc G¸ell, the Picasso Museum and many, many more fascinating places are all easily accessible.
