Located in the peaceful village of Totalan in the Axarquia region of Malaga(3 night minimum stay). Here you can enjoy the peace and tranquility that rural Spain offers while still being close to the buzzling Costa del Sol. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of Andalucia, Totalan is a perfect starting point for hiking, cycling, or if you wish to explore other parts of Andalucia by car. Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba and Cadiz are all within reach of a daytrip, and Malaga is only 20 km away.
If you wish to combine your rural vacation with a day at the beach, Totalan is only 7 km away from the blue-flag beaches of Rincon de la Victoria and La Cala del Moral.
At Costa del Sol you are never far away from a golf course with over 50 golf courses over a stretch of 160 km coastline, the closest one being 10 km away in Rincon de la Victoria, which hosts a 18 hole, 72 par golf course.
In Totalan you will find everything you need for daily living. The village have several small supermarkets where you can get everything you need, and several bars which also serve meals. Above the village there is a municipal pool which just opened in 2010. From the poolside you can enjoy stunning views down to the Mediterranean Sea.
Getting there: There is a daily bus service to and from Malaga. Airport pickup can be arranged. If you arrive by car, detailed directions will be provided in your booking confirmation.
The apartment is well equiped with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, wash room and living room.
-Each bedroom is equiped with a double bed. All bed linens are provided. The bedrooms are equiped with air condition for those warm summer nights, and fans are also available.
-The bathroom is nicely finished with both a shower and a bathtub. Separate toilet. Towels are provided.
-Washroom with laundry machine.
-Large lounge/dining room with sofa, chairs and large dining table. 42' widescreen TV with DVD player, and a large selection of movies available. Assorted games and books available.

The apartment is very nice and has a beautiful view of the mountains. The little town is up in the mountains and even though is 7km from the Totolan center it takes about 12-15 minutes to travel. Malaga is abput 30 min drive. The roads are very curvy. We got lost getting there and the packet that was emailed to me had the wrong phone number so we couldnt get in touch with Zoe the manager. When we finally got there (late in the evening) Zoe welcomed us with a big smile. The apartment is very spacious for 4 people and very clean. It had everything we needed. We had free wifi which was very helpful. Overall the stay was very pleasant.
Une arrivée tardive chez ce jeune couple, Mabel & Birger'a pas empêcher un accueil chaleureux ... Si vous venez sur Malaga ... Je vous invite vivement à y passer votre première ou dernière nuit... Le village de Totalan est un petit bijou oublié des guides qui ne manqueront pas de s'en mordre les doigts tant le charme de ces petits villages blancs des bords de mer, de ses ruelles aussi escarpées que fleuries, vous gratifieront d'une atmosphère des plus belles cartes postales de l'Andalousie. Au petit matin, le déjeuner est copieux et fin, vous mettant d'un bon pied pour une balade à la découverte de ce village... Bref... Une adresse à Malaga , loin des plans touristiques traditionnelles qui ont participé pour notre part à une balade andalouse fantastique... Et nous les en remercions encore chaleureusement ...
We had a great stay, perfectly for a good rest after a day biking in the beautiful nature. A pool only 2 mins away had an amazing view!Great beds, and great hosts. We had a car, and only minutes away there was a great beach, and Malaga city 20 mins away... Fantastisk sted, kan lett anbefale andre soltørste skandinaviere ett par dager her! Vi vekslet mellom hiking, sykling og late timer på balkongen som er tilgjengelig ! Det norske paret er gjestfrie og tilbyr en supert alternativ til de typiske turist-steder. Rett ovenfor ligger byens basseng, med utsikt helt til havet! Belinda&Nicola
