Welcome to Sweet Lisbon River Guesthouse, a guesthouse that provides you with the most astonishing view of Tagus River - a plain 180 º of view of Alfama and the river.
With 8 rooms decorated in a compromise between the Portuguese traditional style and the modern and trendy, and named after Portuguese Traditional Conventual Sweets, our house offers you the Portuguese way of living. Our guesthouse has 8 bedrooms, one lounge/living room and a kitchen with dining area. 3 bedrooms with private wc and 5 bedrooms with shared bathroom. Shared bathrooms are gender selective, fully equipped with two showers each, wc and hairdryer. Private bathrooms are also fully equipped for your convenience.

CANELA Bedroom: with private bathroom and available up to 3 people, this room is inspired in the origins of cinnamon, giving you the bright warm feeling of far eastern reds.
OVOS Bedroom: with private bathroom and available up to 2 people, this room offers you the ambiance of all conventual traditional sweets – the eggs, with a décor based in the exquisite palette of whites and yellows.
AÇUCAR Bedroom: with private bathroom and available for 2 (up to 3) people, this room is inspired in the colours of sugar cane, decorated in a beautiful and restful palette of greens and water lily whites.
ARROZ DOCE: with shared bathroom and available for 2 (up to 5) people, this room is inspired in the traditional milk and rice sweet, with a decor based in yellow, white and brown colour palette.
PASTEL DE NATA: with shared bathroom and available for 2 (up to 3) people, this room is inspired in the traditional pastry and custard sweet, with a decor based in yellow and brown colour palette.
BOLO DE CHOCOLATE E MORANGOS: with shared bathroom and available to up to 3 people, showing a décor palette of black, white and red, this room is inspired in chocolate cake with strawberries, a legacy from the 16th century discoveries of cocoa.
LICOR DE AMORAS SILVESTRES: with shared bathroom and available for 2 (up to 4) people, this room is inspired in blackberries and a famous local blackberries liquor, showing a beautiful palette of dark purple and rose.
PUDIM DE LARANJA: with shared bathroom and available up to 3 pax, you will feel the sweet energy of orange décor, in a room inspired by the traditional Portuguese orange cake.

Accomodation includes Continental breakfast (eggs, bacon, bread, cheese, ham, butter, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice). Once a week we offer you a special tasting of Portuguese Pastries and Sweets.
We offer free wireless internet; TV is not available in our guesthouse. Iron boarding is also available upon request. Our house is totally nonsmoking. Lift is available in the building.

Sweet Lisbon River Guesthouse is located in the heart of Lisbon’s “Ribeirinha” area (that is, near the river), in Alfama.
Public transportation for all destinations is available within walking distance (less than 100m): taxis, buses, tram,subway and trains for long distance (Estação de Santa Apolónia).
The taxi ride from the Airport to the Guesthouse costs about €10 (extra taxes for luggage may apply).
