Since it is situated between two of Barcelona's famous food markets, La Boqueria on Las Ramblas and Mercat Sant Antoni, you might feel tempted to get some of the delicious fresh local products and get hands on in the fancy island kitchen, or just get a few nibbles to enjoy at the terrace with the city under your feet, while you give yourself a good deserved rest after exploring a never ending city.
Located at the edge of the Raval and bordering the neighborhood of Sant Antoni in the Eixample district, one street separates them both. The Raval area is vibrant, historic, authentic and full of personality. It is a lively, multi-cultural neighbourhood with a huge variety of tempting cafes, restaurants and bars. The area has also become fashionable being host to a wide variety of art studios, galleries and trendy bookshops, not to mention the imposing MACBA (museum of modern art) and CCCB which is the neighboring exhibition centre. Clothes shopping is also a pleasure in El Raval thanks to all the little one-off boutiques that line some of the streets giving you a truly unique shopping experience. Sant Antoni at the other side it's a central area of Barcelona but away from the buzz, for a more relaxing wander. It is a lovely place to wander around to take in local sights and sounds.

Carole Nous avons passé avec mon fils un séjour de rêve en avril 2013. Le logement est très bien situé (facile d'accès depuis l'aéroport avec l'aérobus et à 10 minutes à pied des Ramblas). Il est super propre, très moderne et meublé avec goût. merci infiniment à Patricia qui s'est montré très accueillante et nous a donné toutes les informations utiles afin de rendre notre escapade inoubliable !!!
Christine It was a nice break for us and our baby! what we expected from this stay, was realised, one way, by this city, ever in movement, and in the other way by this fabulous apartment! A very great terrace that give you a feeling of freedom under the sky - the view was perfect for us. Very nice and well-equiped, we found what we need for making little preparation for our 6 month baby! The situation is for us, very comfortable, because, you can find many things around (market, pharma, restaurant) and it is not far from touristic area and metro (not far from the MacBa, la plaça catalunya, passeig de graci, ...) Patricia, the host, is lovely and attentioned, and kindly avalaible! We may go back there! surely! Thank you dear Patricia xx
Marc It was our first trip to Barcelona and despite the fantastic choice of hotels, we couldn't have found a better place to stay! The flat is located in the centre which means easy to find when coming from the airport and we could walk to all famous sights in 20 minutes maximum. The roof terrace is a mere highlight and so is the spotlessly clean, functional and aesthetically pleasing interior design of the flat. Each morning, it took us a while to get out of bed because it's so comfortable. Patricia is a great host and made sure we were perfectly set up to discover the city! She gave us very useful options where to eat and what to see. We left very happy and hope to return soon!
