NEW APARTMENT! Fashionable apartment with a terrace in a top location!
This wonderful design apartment is on the first floor of a building on Campo de Santa Clara, the place where the most famous flea market of Lisbon (Feira da Ladra - thieves' market) is held, every Tuesday and Saturday.
Nearby you have various forms of traditional Portuguese commerce, and from there you can easily reach most of the popular sightseeing spots in Lisbon.
It is also walking distance to the subway and the train stations Santa Apolónia (not close enough to be disturbed by the trains’ noise), connecting the capital to the northern part of Portugal and also to the trains coming from Spain. The nearest airport is Lisbon International Airport, which is 12 kilometers away. There is a stop of the scenic route by the famous tram 28 very close by.
The apartment is 100 m2 and has been entirely renovated and remodelled to include:
•two sleeping rooms with double beds (140 cm wide);
•a sitting and dinning room with a double sofa bed, satellite plasma TV, Cd and DVD players;
•a complete kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, electric and gas oven and electric stove, microwave, fridge with freezer;
•a bathroom with bathtub;
•a terrace with sofas, eating table and even a shower (cold), perfect for the hot summer days in Lisbon.
In wintertime the apartment is heated with electric heaters.
We will welcome you with a bottle of cold “vinho verde”.

Overall a nice apartment with good access to transport and in a convenient location--although a steep climb if coming from the metro! Beds were comfortable but the front room bedroom was very noisy from traffic (especially on market days) so I used earplugs every night but the back room is apparently quiet and restful. Basic items like handsoap in the bathroom were lacking, as were other items like coffee/tea that are usually in other rental flats. Most of the flat was very clean except for the sofa and cushions in the living room which was covered in stains and quite dirty. Also, the outside area was covered in leaves/plant material and the cushions soaking wet and dirty. Although it was 'off-season' for sitting outside, the view really detracted from the overall appearance of the apartment.

Indeed, the apartment is located in front of the flea market, which happens 2 times per week, but as one of the "most see" things to see it might be an interesting place to stay in, nevertheless you need to be ready for a some noisy during the day. Regarding the missing hand soap, we do provide it, the lack of this item should´t happen. We will look into what caused it, to make sure it won´t not happen again. However the tea and coffee we do no provide it, however we will take this into consideration. We spend considerable time and investment in ensuring the properties are not only kept in excellent condition but are constantly improved and take guest feedback on board whenever possible therefore we will ask our quality department to have a look to the sofa and cushions. However in the terrace, due to the tree outside is quite difficult to leave the pateo clean at all times. Please accept our sincere apologies. hopefully this did not damage your opinion about the apartment and our company. We would love to welcome you again in Lisbon and one of our apartments.
