Cozy, Quiet, Sunny apartment in Florence.
In the apartment you will find yourself situated in a calm, charming, and safe district of the beautiful and historical city of Florence. It is only a short (1 minute walk) to the bus stop and to the Castello Railway Station, where you can catch the hourly train which connects the apartment in 10 minutes to the center of Florence.
The charming district of Sesto Fiorentino provides many useful places within short walking distances. There are two supermarkets within walking distances to buy food and groceries - not to mention a great cafe, gelateria, and pizzeria! It is a great place to quickly feel at home during a vacation and be closely connected to the heart of Florence.
My main goal as a host is for you is to feel as home as possible in the apartment – providing you with anything you might need during your stay. This apartment can serve as a great base for traveling throughout Tuscany as Bologna, Ravenna, Pisa, Siena since all are within easy travel distance. Also from the main train station in Florence you can travel to anywhere throughout Italy including Venice, Milan, Rome, and Napoli.
Inside the apartment you will find a large bedroom that can accommodate multiple people. It can be set up with a double bed and a single for kids, or if needed, three single beds. In the living room/kitchen area there is also a pull out couch that can accommodate and extra person. The apartment also includes an entrance hall, bathroom with shower, utility room, and terrace where you can bask in the warm Tuscan sun.
The apartment is equipped with all the essentials needed for any period of stay. It has a fully equipped kitchen with large fridge and freezer, an oven, microwave, toaster, dishes, as well as utensils for cooking. Also available inside the apartment is a washing machine, an iron, TV, personal computer with wireless internet access, hairdryer, towels, sheets, soap, shampoo, detergents, toilet paper, etc.
If needed, and possible, I will gladly provide transportation from the airport or the Florence central station to the apartment. I am always happy at the chance to help people visit and see Florence as well.
Please feel free to contact me for any further details and information you may require for your stay and don't hesitate to ask about any other services you may need or desire during your stay (for example, taxis, food delivery, keeping your luggage for an extra day or two, etc.). The Golden Rule is just plain old common sense ;-) !!!
You are free to come and go as you please, there is no time at which you have to be back at the apartment.
Treat my home as your home. Naturally, it's not a problem if a plate or a glass comes broken.
Please be considerate of our neighbors and try to not make too much noise on the staircase, and entryway.
Check in and out times are very flexible – when you choose too.
I ask that you separate the waste and dispose of it in its proper containers.
