If you’re looking for a fantastic property, right in the heart of London, with the Arts, history, entertainment and so much more at your fingertips this is the perfect base for your stay.

Situated between the Houses of Parliament and the Tower of London on the banks of the River Thames this lovely apartment really is in the perfect location for you to explore and enjoy London's world class attractions. We even have a local beach (see photos)

Apartment details:

The apartment has been fully refurbished to a high specification to provide you with a relaxing and comfortable stay. It is immaculately presented throughout and can sleep up to 5 adults. We can also accommodate 1 baby/small child in a travel cot.
We provide fresh bed linen but ask guests to bring their own linen for their baby/child.

1 Kingsize bed in main bedroom (sleeps 2)
1 double sofa bed living area (sleeps 2)
1 fold away single bed (sleeps 1)
1 travel cot (sleeps 1 baby/child up to 2 yrs of age)

Also available if extra guest:
1 inflatable camping bed (sleeps 1)

The flat has a fully equipped modern kitchen complete with washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, fridge, freezer.

There is a breakfast bar and dining table. If you prefer dining alfresco, the flat also has a balcony complete with BBQ. (There are also many restaurants within walking distance - under 5 mins).

The apartment also has a study area and library for your use. There is a large flat screen television (+DVD player) in the living room. FREE WIFI is provided, the internet connection is broadband with unlimited downloads. The last speed test was 13.42 mbps.

The bathroom has both a bath and a power shower, heated towel rail and an electric shaving socket. Fresh towels are included.

The apartment is situated on the bank of the River Thames in the heart of London's cultural quarter. It is within walking distance of many world famous cultural, historic and entertainment attractions;

5 min walk to St Paul's Cathedral

12 min walk to South Bank Arts Centre, a vibrant cultural hub with restaurants, bars and the National Theatre and the British Film Institute

15 min walk to London Eye, London Aquarium and the Houses of Parliament

18 min walk to London Bridge and the historic Borough Market

25 min walk to The Tower of London and Tower Bridge

Transport:

The flat is served with excellent transport links both across London and nationally:

1 minute walk from Blackfriars Station (Circle and District tube line) with its Overground train line to Gatwick and Luton airports and Brighton on the south coast.

Southwark tube station (Jubilee line) is a 5 minute walk away, St Paul’s tube station (Central line is a 7 minute).

Buses from Blackfriars Road go direct to Kings Cross St Pancras or Liverpool Street station.

You can also pick up the tourist hop-on hop -off tourist bus as the end of our street.

If you wish to see London from the river you can board a Thames clipper cruise from nearby Bankside pier. Boats leave every few minutes for Greenwich (East) and London St George’s Wharf (West).

The apartment is perfectly located for quick access to many of London's main attractions and provides stunning views of the river Thames across to St Paul's Cathedral and the London City-scape (See photos) from its large windows overlooking the River Thames.

The £250 security/breakage deposit should be transferred via Paypal.

(Alternatively we sometimes can accept the deposit in cash but please be aware that this is not always possible as we are not always ini London on the day of guests departure and would therefore be unable to return cash deposits. Also returning cash deposits to guests with an early check-out - before 11am - will result in a £20 charge to cover peak travel costs for us. A receipt will be issued at Check-In and the money returned at Check-out.)

Stephen Very very good. All as expected + as we are not that familiar with London, the location is excellent. Virtually everywhere we needed to go was walkable. Property very clean and tidy with great views. Sofa-bed not ideal for our needs but quite comfortable.
