STUNNING ONE BEDROOM NEXT TO HYDE PARK

Sophie L'appartement était tout à fait conforme à la description. Il était parfait pour notre famille de 4. Encore merci à James pour son accueil chaleureux et sa disponibilité. Le logement se situe dans un quartier agréable et les transports en commun sont à proximité (bus et métro). Très bon point de départ pour la visite de Londres.

Bernadette The apartment is perfect for a couple or single.Its cute, new and clean.The location is perfect.The apartment as we found it,doesn't work for 4 people, it contains a different sofa than that pictured in the ad.We had to ask for a cot to accomodate all four of us as the sofa they now have folds flat and is only about 4 feet wide. It fits one person. We had difficulties contacting the host and then getting him to come up with a cot. We seemed to get results only after we talked to HouseTrip. The host didn't arrive on time for the checkout.When we got home he told us he would deposit the money into our paypal account within two days.Two days later he accused us of damaging the countertop.The damage was there when we checked in.I offered to include only the positive things about our trip in the review if he returned our deposit.He accused me of blackmail. He sent several very rude and aggressive messages.I had to ask HouseTrip to intervene for him to stop.Photograph any damage at checkin.

Nathalie We just had a lovely stay in London. The flat is perfect. Beautiful bedroom, nice flat, very practical and straight forward and James was most helpful and accommodating. it’s 5 min from tube and bus stop in lovely location. There is a good little supermarket nearby too. Having just read past reviews I must add that we had no problem with the heating. It was nice and cosy. Water pressure needs getting used to, but if you hold the shower head down when you switch the water on you get full power ok. I found the sofa bed ok too–there was 5 of us (6 year old + parents and grandparents) and we weren’t on top of each other. I would definitely recommend it or indeed use it again! Nathalie

Charling Overall convenient place, 5 minutes from Paddington, 15 minutes from Notting Hill and 20 minutes from Hyde Park. Probably should not be called "next to Hyde Park". James was very nice on welcome, althought the flat was cold, and it took a ull day to heat ip up but he was much less pleasant when we left when I mentioned the few problems we had: - Rain or water leak from the ceiling in the bedroom - difficulty to control the hot/cold water pressure - The connector near the bedside lamp flickering (bad contact) - Dust in many corners and under the table covers.

Lucy As we wanted a long weekend in London to see some family, we decided to rent an apartment, as we had seen this apartment and it looked idylic. There were four of us, and we only used the apartment for sleeping as went out all day. The flat is lovely, it has everything you need, but the sofa bed was a little bumpy so I found myself sleeping on it as a sofa not a bed, but it was still comfy. There are shops, but you have to look for them as the ones we found were quite expensive. The neighbours above were a little loud at night but then again it's a flat so it's to be expected. It is situated in a lovely area and the tube station is only a few minutes walk. WE used Lancaster Gate and we were in Central London in about 10 minutes. Hyde Park is right opposite the Tube station and is so worth a visit. We all had a lovely time in London and wish James and his family all the best.
