ACCOMODATION:
Quiet and very private, this 3-rooms apartment (55m²/600ft²) offers superb open views across a park and the Amstel river. In a popular and one of the best areas in town and near a shopping street. Very close to the historical centre and to all public transport and always parking spots in front of the apartment.
The apartment is fully equipped with:
1. Living/dining room, flat screen TV (Satellite TV) with DVD player, free WiFi, comfortable couch and chairs
2. Master bedroom with double bed (2x90 x200 cm) and wardrobes.
3. Second bedroom with double bed (2x80 x200 cm).
4. Fully equipped kitchen with toaster/oven/grill/microwave. Plus a washing/dryer machine.
5. A very luxurious marble tiled bathroom with shower.
The apartment is on the first floor (no lift), very private and is graced by the sun, because of its corner positioning towards the East and South and is very light. Complete with central heating making the apartment very comfortable in wintertime.
For families with a baby, we provide a baby bed. The rent includes cleaning, fresh bedding & towels.
Check-in is very easy, because entrance is by means of a digital key-code lock at the front door. On the check-out day there is always the possibilty to leave luggage at the apartment in case of a evening flight and pick it up later so you can enjoy another day in the city.
LOCATION:
The apartment lies South of the centre in one of the best areas in town (Rivierenbuurt). The area features many traditional Amsterdam buildings which were built in the 1930s. Very close to the historical city centre and all public transport (tram, railway station, subway) and near a shopping street. Also close to RAI exhibition centre. There are parking spots in front of the apartment (paid parking fee). Staying here is living amongst the locals and feeling the rhythm of their living.
There are no neighbors across the street and there is a lovely view of tree lined park which lies across the borders of the Amstel river.
A few minutes' walk from the apartment brings you to a shopping street, where you'll find grocery shops and restaurants to have breakfast, lunch and take-away. The grocery shops and supermarkets are open 7 days a week, so you can have fresh bread and fruit every day and takeaway coffee.
TRANSPORT:
A few minutes walk takes you to a tram stop, where the tram brings you to the largest open air market in Amsterdam (Albert Cuyp) in 10 minutes, and in 15 minutes to Rembrandt square (Idfa festival) or Dam Square. You can also walk around and feel the atmosphere of this unique area where tourists from all over the world are enchanted by the architecture (Amsterdam School). There is also a railway station close by which can bring you in 15 minutes to Schiphol airport.
Two bicycles are provided because there is no greater enjoyment than to explore the city on a bike! We also provide you with all tourist information for sight seeing, best local restaurants, best way to use public transport and other secrets to explore.

Tout était parfait! L'appartement est un peu excentré mais très calme et très bien situé, facilement relié au centre ville(comptez 20' de tram). Le logement est très confortable, à proximité de petits commerces Notre hôte fournit des explications très complètes, même en français! A noter une machine à café de marque Krup qui fonctionne avec capsules.
Hans is a welcoming host who has spent a great deal of time thinking about what his guests will need. The apartment was cozy and very comfortable even in January! We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the bikes - only 20 mins to the centre by bike which is faster than the tram. Highly recommended.
