COLOGNE is situated on the centre-west part of Germany. You are in the middle of Europe, in less than three hours you will find yourself in one of the popular European cities like Paris, Amsterdam (Holland), Luxemburg, Brussels (Belgium). The cities of Düsseldorf and the ex-capital of Germany, Bonn are reachable within 30 minutes. There is a direct connection with Cologne-Bonn airport and the metro station Hansaring is only 100 meters from the apartment away.

The location is the best in Cologne, the Hansaring station has S-Bahn and U-Bahn connections. The S-Bahn is the fastest way to move around. Quicker than the car!
The Cologne Fair is only two train stations away, 5 minutes . There is also an easy public connection to Düsseldorf and Bonn Fairs.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor (lift available) in a building with 5 levels. There are only 10 apartments all together.

My apartment has three rooms, kitchen and bathroom. The windows are new, double windows, that protect you from the Cologne weather and city noise. It is at the corner Maybach and Luebecker St.

The main bedroom has a double bed and faces the Maybach St.
The other two rooms are on the Luebecker St.
The second bedroom has a single bed. We can add a second bed if needed.
The living room has a very comfortable sofa bed that you can use as two single beds or king bed.

The bathroom has been renew, it is modern, elegant, comfortable, funtional

The kitchen is well equipped, I used to live there. There are more things provided that a service apartment. Everything that you need is there.

The apartment was good, and the wealth of information about how to find the place was very useful. We were meant to be a group of 6 people, though only 4 of our group could join in for this trip. Actually I am pleased we were not 6 as there is only one bathroom which includes the toilet. Having six people share one bathroom would not have been good. The price for the one night, together with the separate cleaning charge, plus the cost of eating a breakfast locally, was equal to the cost of sharing a room in a hotel - with access to several bathrooms. ***** Updated after reading the owners response to my feedback**** What an interesting and very acerbic response Alex! Not good for publicity! You have assumed a lot of things about me, and the hotel which are totally untrue. Best I clarify. I know about sharing bathrooms, and also living in Europe too. I have encountered this before where many people share one apartment, sharing the bathroom can be challenging. I also pride myself on my ability to be flexible. It is a fair point that we could have bought some food at a supermarket and shared this, to keep the total cost of our stay down. You are wrong about comparing to a hotel room. Some of our group stayed in an excellent hotel. The facilities are perfect, the service is always fantastic. Most importantly, the staff are all very personable and professional. I asked the group who stayed in your apartment for all of their feedback so bear in mind the review is not only my personal view. In fact mine was the most agreeable, until I read your response! So, here’s the rest of it. The hot water ran out after only one shower, and one of the mattresses was old. Maybe it is you who needs to think and act wiser?
Hi Mike, in Europe most of the places have only one bathroom and you knew that from the beginning. We have in every room mirrows and you can use also the basin in the kitchen. I used to live in that apartment and I used to rent rooms for the fair, there was never a problem with the bathroom. When you know there are 6 people using it, you do in the bathroom what you have to do and the rest outside. Of course if one wants to spend one hour in the shower or trying to get the make up right,then there is not going to be much room for the other. === When you go overseas you will find that you have to share many things and the way to adapt yourself to the new circusmtances show the grade of flexibility that you have. === I have been travelling a lot and sharing many things with many people, I learnt to think wisely and use the time wisely. === Also what you say about the hotel room, I do not agree. You cannot compare apples with bananas. If you pay the same in a hotel, then the hotel will not be very pleasant and you will not have as much room as you hade before. Also you did not have to go out to have breakast, you had the opportunity to go to the supermarket that it was only 200 meters and get what you wanted and save money. So Mike next time think wiser and act wiser. Alex ================= Mike, I suggest the next time you go to a hotel and do not bother to book apartments. Also it is not true that the hot water last for only one shower, and if you run out of hot water we have a system that heats the whole day long, so you wait a little bit and the hot water comes back. === Different places, different ways of living and arranging things. Unfortunately, the property became unavailable due to a plumbing problem and we did not stay there. Marazul, however, tried very hard to find another accommodation for us and, when unable to do so, promptly returned the fee for the apartment. Although I cannot recommend the property, I can recommend Marazul as a host!
