Charming studio with a mediterranean touch, balcony, best location, Cologne city, 10 minutes walking distance to the Cathedral, two stations to the fair, 250 meters from the best stop connection in Cologne, Hansaring.
This cozy 30m2 studio is very charming and the space is used in full so that it actually looks much bigger than the normal size.
It may be also because of the 6 meter long peaceful balcony. The entrance to the building is through a courtyard, a very idyllic place in the busy city of Cologne.
We do have a very comfortable bed coach and an air bed. There is no internet access but nowadays this is not a big deal. You can get a modem for a reasonable price, ca 30 EUR and you can use it in the whole Germany and every time you need it
Ideal is the studio for 2 persons but it is possible to accomodate up to 4.

The apartment is 5 minutes walk to the station Hansaring. Best location in Cologne.
The public connections from Cologne are in Hansaring the best with direct access to all directions, subway and tram. There are only two stops to the convention center, 5 minutes. In addition, there is a direct connections to Cologne airport, 15 minutes by public transport. There is also a direct connection to the cities Düsseldorf and Bonn.
The apartment is situated between the neighbourhoods Agnesviertel and Media Park. Media Park is an interesting complex in Cologne, with cinemas, a lake, cafes, exhibitions, modern architecture and a park.
The Agnes district is a very popular with beautiful old renovated facades, many cafes, bars and restaurants. To go to the central station, we go through the Roman Eigelstein. The Rhine promenade and the Cologne Cathedral are nearby, less than 10 minutes walk!

Die Wohnung ist gleich, aber fein. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt :-) Das Einzige ist, dass das Badezimmer wirklich sehr klein ist und einen neuen Anstrich gebrauchen könnte. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung zu empfehlen, hat alles was benötigt wird und hat eine absolut tolle Lage. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.
This place was absolutely great. It was less than five minutes from both a major train hub as well as a U-bahn station in addition to having some great food and shopping right in the area. Also, it's a very manageable walk to the main cathedral and the surrounding museums. The apartment itself is very cozy and a great place to relax after an afternoon on the town though if you're tall, watch your head in the kitchen. In summary, stop looking and book this place. Das Appartement hat uns gut gefallen - romantisch-idyllische Großstadthinterhofatmosphäre - Blick vom hohen Dach auf liebevoll gepflegte und blumengeschmückte Hinterhofbalkons und Feuerleitern... Gut ausgestattet und freundlicher Empfang, allerdings muß man viele Treppen steigen (5.Sock?).
Thanks for the feedback Barbara. Yes the apartment is beautiful and very peaceful and has a great location. It is on the 4 floor not 5. The stairs are not that high either. But it seems that some persons are not used anymore to walk up the stairs. I always say, take your time, walk up slowly and you will not have any problems. Walking up stairs it is a great excercise for our lazy calf muscles and it is very important to prevent hip and back injuries. **** My advice is to take any new challenge that you com across and do the most of it. Also what sometimes may seem inconvenience it is a wake up call, to make us understand other related things. In this case the type of life that we have and the need to stretch and do a work out with the muscles that we normally do not use in every day life. (I am a fitness fanatic and I do not regret it, my health never lets me down). Alex
Réponse du propriétaire Danke fuer das feedback. Ich glaube Sie wollten sagen, klein aber fein. Ich bin ueberrascht dass Sie das Badezimmer zu klein gefunden haben. Da das Badezimmer gefliesst ist und nur der oberer Teil angestriechen ist, denke es ist wohl nicht so schlimm, aber gerne kann ich nochmal streichen lassen. Ja, die Lage ist sehr schoen und die Wohnung ist sehr modern.
