Beautifully renovated apartment on the top floor of an elegant building in the heart of Lucca. Ideal for the holidays because of its great location within the well known walls of Lucca. Everything is reachable by walk! The anfiteatro, the Via Fillungo famous for its shopping and the restaurants around it, the botanical gardens, theater, railway, etc...
The apartment comprises a spacious and bright living room, small kitchen cabinet with a dual hot plate and sink complete with appliances, 2 double bedroom, bathroom with bath. Total surface 100 sm, top floor (no elevator), air conditioned, heating, TV, WiFi, linens, towels, bathrobes, soaps.
The apartment is located in one of the most stylish and salubrious areas of Lucca. Sounds of classical music waft in from the neighbouring conservatoire. All of the most elegant boutiques, gorgeous eateries and food shops are minutes away.
The accommodation is delightful- very clean, stylish, comfortable and sun-filled. Perfecly located in the middle of the old city.

This apartment is right in the centre of Lucca with restaurants and supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance, fantastic! It was very clean, tidy, quite and comfortable. However the kitchen is very basic and you can't really cook in it, but who needs to when you have so many places to eat in Lucca!The price was good for the location of the apartment in this very stylish city.
Tastefully decorated apartment in the heart of Lucca. The only problem with being in the heart of Lucca is that on arrival, we had to lug our bags quite a way over cobblestone streets from the car park to the apartment at night. Marco gave us a lift getting out but we did need it on arrival as well. Also you need to climb up many stairs to get to the apartment. Kitchen was small but adequate for us. The smoky smell one other reviewer wrote about, I do believe, is from the fireplaces in the building. Would have liked to be able to use the fireplace. Apart from that it is a lovely apartment ,very comfortable, very well located and well priced. We really enjoyed our stay there. Marco was easily available by phone if needed.
We have rented many houses as we travel (including Lucca) and normally we are pleasently surprised. It was not the case here and is unfortunate becuase it would only take some small changes to improve the quality of the stay. First, when you walk into the apartment, you smell cigarette smoke. So if you are sensitive to this, look elsewhere. It was OK when the windows were opened. Second, there were no soaps, bathrobes, coffee, tea, or toaster, as advertised. Oh, and also NO TOILET PAPER. There are no cutains in the liviing room, so the bathrobes would have been handy on your way to the bathroom. Finally, the kitchen is cabinet with a dual hot plate and sink. If you are thinking of really cooking a meal here, forget it. There weren't even a few basics in the kitchen, such as salt and olive oil as we normally find. Just attention to a few details, including advertised items, a photo of the kitchen, would have earned a 4 rating. The apartment itself is quite nice.

All in all- it is a wonderful place to stay.
