“Marmont Apt in Split - the best location” A very nice apartment next door to the owners, who are very attentive and helped us arrange the Split Museum Card. And he is a doctor! The apartment is roomy with all the facilities you need including clothes washing machine, furnished kitchen with appliances (no microwave), etc. Location is in the heart of the Split shopping area and surrounded by restaurants and nearby supermarket. Some minor inconveniences: 1. 4 flights of stairs to climb. 2. Bathroom has a sewer smell I would associate with a bad drain trap. 3. Instructions to apartment were good except for the last turn. We were instructed to look for a yellow building that is not immediately visible. A better instruction would have been "turn left at the 1 meter high steel coffee cup sitting in the middle of the pedestrian walk way," accompanies by a photo.

“Fantastic views and service” We stayed five days in Dubrovnik and we felt very good at this apartment. The owners are very kind and very nice and they made us feel very comfortable. “PERFECT” We stayed at this appartmento only for one night as we were travelling from Vienna to Pag Island . We had some problems getting to the appartment as we arrived by car and so we decided to ask Maya for help. We soon found out how kind she and her husband are, they came to pick us up where we got lot (glad it's wasn't too far form the appartment). Maya told us some really nice places to visit, where to eat and was a perfect host! The appartment is very big with a nice view, in the center of Zagreb, even if we only had some hours in the evening of our arrival and the morning we left we really enjoyed our stay. “search no more...” just back from a wonderful week in dubrovnik... the owner Nikola picked us up @ the airport and brought us to the house ( ca 25 min ride) exellent. we stayed at the whisper apartment , ( with the nicest terrace & view). the apartment is big , new & clean. upstairs bathroom & downstairs bathroom. kitchen with all you need & more.Yes its location is perfect for beach life, transport to Old town, restaurants & 2 grocery stores. this was our first trip to Croatia but def. not the last...friendly people nice prices. We were also lucky with the weather ca 24 degrees every day. Nikola was the most helpful host in any way. did a full day exursion to 3 islands whitch we can recommande.So thank you Nikola og dubrovnik for a lovely week. we`be back...

“Very well located apartement with a great view” We stayed at house Hilda 2 in October 2013 with our two children. The apartement is clean, very well located and has everything you need. Our children loved the kittens on the small place in front of the house. We enjoyed sitting in the kitchen with a wide open window especially because of the great view. You have to climb very steep steps to get to the house. The good thing about this is that you have a very calm spot and you can relax after strolling through the very crowded city of Dubrovnik.

“A short peaceful stay.” Gina was helpful to communicate with, met us off the ferry, and took us to the apartment. As it was dusk and the apartment is not real easy to find this was very helpful, although it is really only a short walk. Gina gave a comprehensive briefing on arrival. We could only stay for 2 nights however the apartment had everything required for a much longer visit, was in excellent condition, and very well located. The only minor issue was with the complexity of the new multi-purpose shower mixer. The shower worked well but was unnecessarily difficult to master.

“Cosy apartment, stunning sea view !!!” This apartment was very clean and spacious, new and the owners Marina and Ivo were helpful and lovely people. On our arrival the owners shared a home made liquor to welcome us to the apartment. They left us a little surprise in the fridge, an apple strudel. It was a great sea view to Dubrovnik from our balcony. The area is a 4min walk to a supermarket Tommy which is open until 9pm, and a 10min walk to bus stops which takes you to the old city Dubrovnik. There are lovely quiet beaches 10min from the apartment. Or you could walk to the old city in 15-20 mins, there are restaurants 10mins walk. Overall, I will definately recommend this place. They gave us a gift on our departure too, a bottle of their delicious liquor. I am glad i booked this apartment and i am planning to stay there again, good quiet location, easy transport with lovely owners!

“Wonderful!” Everything about this holiday was perfect. The accommodation was spotless and extremely comfortable: very close to the centre but still quiet. The apartment was very well-equipped (the bed was better than my bed at home) and there was nothing we needed that wasn't provided. Best of all was Marina! I've never felt so welcomed or so comfortable with a landlady. We got wonderful local advice; were picked up and taken to an excellent restaurant; she did our washing for us and brought us special treats. She made sure we were looked after and delivered us to the boat with all our bags when we left. We were completely relaxed and had a wonderful time. We'll always think of it as our home in Korcula!

“Genuine Croatian Hospitality” On arriving at Hvar, we were met on the Riva and driven up to our apartment by Teo, Marija's brother. Our apartment was spotlessly clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, and double decks. A very warm welcome and some beautiful marmalade were waiting on the kitchen table. The apartment is situated within walking distance to the beautiful historic town of Hvar, where we enjoyed many hours of exploring, and eating in many of the local restaurants and cafes. The famous Hula Hula bar was just down the hill from our apartment, or for those who wished somewhere a little quieter; a short stroll along the promenade to the Falco Bar, where we watched the sun set... paradise. Marija, your marmalade was fabulous, and yes, we did think of you while eating it in Igrane. Teo, many thanks for driving us up to the fortress on that very hot day; it was a panoramic view not to be missed. We would highly recommend Ela Majija's apartments to any one traveling to Hvar.

“Wonderful Casa Bella” The making of our holday was the amzing hospitality which we received from Zeljka and her father. We were met from our coach and during the short walk to the appartment all of the best restaurants and beaches were pointed out to us. At the appartment we were provided with a mobile phone with which to contact our hosts, day or night, though this was never necessary, everthing being so well appointed. the appartment itself was equiped with everything one could possibly need for one's stay. “Excellent Location Friendly Owners” Our family of two adults and two daughters (having a week before restarting university) had a fabulous week here accommodation excellent spotlessly clean owners Naoemi and Vlaho very friendly always available with wealth of local knowledge. Location perfect for 20 min walk down into Dubrovnik or 5 min bus trip, buses going to Old Town or port and Lapad stop close to apartment. Located at top of hill the apartment is reached either by fairly steep road or 120 steps, but we managed and are not "super fit"! Bakers at bottom of steps or small convenience store 50m away which was well stocked for basic supplies.A few restaurants and beach are within walking distance. Best thing about location is that it is quiet as in residential area,friendly owners and friendly dog (Boogie) a character in his own right. Apartment well equipped and easily kept clean, fantastic views from any of the balconies and Naoemi always on hand with fresh baking which never disappointed.

“A Gift from Heaven” Well, if you have a dream of holidaying in the most perfect place in the world, then email tonko.brailo@optinet.hr and you will get the help you need. Between the 27March and 8April I spent my time overlooking the Adriatic, UNESCO Heritage site of Dubrovnik and watching the sunset from Tonko's lovely balcony that runs the full width of the 2 bedroom apartment. The interior is extremely well designed; it allows you to feel totally comfortable. Tonko and his wife are gems - generous, helpful, informative and caring in every way. You can't beat this place and as my grown daughter said: "best place you ever booked mom".

“Outstanding, modern, comfortable apartment with amazing views.” We stayed in the penthouse at Anuska Apartments and found it excellent in all respects. The apartment was clean and well furnished, with great amenities. It has a small outside space with wonderful views across Cavtat and the bay. Night life out of this world (apparently)” Positives - quiet location, good views, clean and pleasant apartment, owner very welcoming. “A little bit of paradise!” We stayed in Hvar Mood House with 2 other couples in September 2012. The owner Slavko was there to meet us and showed us around the apartment. This apartment is absolutely fabulous. It has spectacular views from the balcony and the apartment itself is spacious and airy and has all the mod cons you could ask for. It is also spotlessly clean. All six of us absolutely loved it. If you turn left from the apartment there is a supermarket about 100 metres away which sells everything you would need. If you turn right it is only a ten minute walk to the centre of the town with all the bars and restaurants you could ask for. You are also only about 2 minutes walk from the beach where you can swim in unbelievably clear water - there are 2 beach bars nearby, the lively in the evening Hula Hula Bar or the somewhat more sedate Falko Beach Bar. The views from the balcony, especially at sunset are spectacular and is the perfect location to sit and watch all the various craft from passenger liners and luxury yachts to small motor-boats making their way to and from the harbour. Each evening, we sat out taking in the view of the Pakleni Island and enjoyed a drink before heading down to the town for our dinner. The town of Hvar is picture postcard beautiful and everyone we encountered was friendly and spoke perfect English. Recommend climbing up to the fort for fantastic views over the harbour. Slavko the owner of the apartment is very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. even bringing all our luggage down to the harbour when we were getting the ferry back to Split. He also gave us good recommendations for restaurants. All in all, a fabulous place to stay in Hvar which we would heartily recommend.

“Lovely apartment right next to old town” The apartment was excellent, the location is perfect, literally just outside Pile gate. The rooms are very nice, with the small kitchen good enough to cook a few meals in( although there is no oven so it does limit your options a little). The bathroom and bedroom are decorated to a high standard as well. Our only problem was that the double bed was just two singles next to each other, but that I essentially the only thing I would change here. Lastly Dubrovnik is a great city well worth spending a few days in and the apartment is a really nice wee place to stay.

“An unforgettable stay in the lap of luxury!” I can't rate our stay at Palace view highly enough. From the very moment I emailed Ingrid to enquire about staying in the apartment I received friendly and prompt replies from her which just made the whole booking progress such a joy! It can be stressful organising holiday accommodation especially if you are doing it for yourself and your 5 others friends but Ingrid was happy to answer the thousands of questions we all had! It was so wonderful to know that we had beach towels and bath towels available to us at no extra charge and also that we would not be required to clean the apartment before leaving. It meant we had more time to relax and also more space in our bags for more important things. Palace view is absolutely stunning, with beautiful, neutral decor and a very homely feel about it. The photos accurately show what the apartment looks like. It was so helpful to have a real local's recommendations of where to eat and drink and which places to visit, which meant that we really made the most of our stay and didn't waste time at dodgy places! I highly recommend staying here and if I'm ever in Split again - I know where I'll be staying! Thanks Ingrid for a brilliant holiday.
