“Gorgeous, clean, warm, and very welcoming house feels like coming home.” This house is very welcoming and caters for both young and old. It has been built and decorated by caring hands to a very high standard. This was our first time renting a holiday home, we were unsure what to expect. We received a warm welcome from John and were made to feel very comfortable this was definitely a home away from home. My 5 year old little boy loved playing on the swings and John very kindly let him borrow a bike which he loved! The views and near by beeches are lovely and fingers crossed we will definitely be back again! We would like to thanks both John and Dolores for letting us stay in this truly lovely and affectionately now known to us as our holiday home. There was only one bad thing about Mia's Cottage – are stay was not long enough!

“Perfect location and a great place to stay” We've stayed here four times now! Just a few 100 metres from Portsalon Quay, the golf course and the stunning Portsalon beach, this is such a great place to stay. The house easily sleeps the 7 of us. With a fully-equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher and central heating, it had all the comforts of home, but with much better views! Highly recommend it and am looking forward to the next visit.

“Fabulous wooden cabin in a stunning location.” This is a first class wooden cabin. Plenty of room for a large family or two maybe 3 smaller familes. It has everything you would need a real home away from home and beautifully decorated a little bit of luxury. Rockhill itself has a great variety of entertainment for kids. The icing on the cake is the stunning view of Mulroy bay and if your lucky the amazing sunset. I cannot fault this place we will certainly be back again.

“Absolutely perfect - house, location, views and attention to detail - loved it all” We have stayed in a various cottages in Ireland over the last few years but this is by far the best. Two of us and our dogs ( plus an overnight stay by my visiting parents - we thought we might have to throw them out - they loved it so much). The cottage is so well equipped - the attention to detail is excellent, they have thought of eveything. The dogs could get straight down to the pebble beach from the front door and the gorgeous Five Finger Strand beach is only 5 minutes drive away. Every room is really well decorated and the views are STUNNING !. Pay a visit to Malin Head point while you are there - and get a Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows from the very clever man with the Coffee/Deli van in the Car Park - its an expereince not to be missed! Can't recommend this cottage enough - if I win the Lottery I am gonna make the owners an offer !! A real gem.

“Great house in convenient location.” We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at this house. It is in a nice, quiet location yet convenient to the town, beach and park and also for touring the Inishowen Peninsula. We had a mixture of older and younger children with us and they enjoyed skateboarding and scootering round the back of the house. We also had 2 big dogs who enjoyed the space.The owner and key holder of the property could not have been more friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.

“A very nice house with 'character' beautifully located, a pleasure to stay.” This is a very nice place to stay, the boathouse history gives the place a special character and positions it on a fantastic place, with great view on the bay and its birds and seals when sitting in the living room. For those that appreciate such a setting, the small disadvantages of an older building are of minor importance. The region is great for walks and drives. In early May, the bay in front of the house was very quiet, a thing that we highly appreciate. During the summer season, nearby caravan parks will probably make it somewhat less quiet. The house is well equipped, but furniture and decorations probably make it less suitable for families with a wild bunch of children.
