Explore Looe

The charming fishing village of Looe in Cornwall has a prime location along the southeast coast of England and is well situated for exploring one of the most picturesque regions in the UK. Nestled comfortably next to the rippling shores of the Atlantic, Looe has a beautiful sandy beach to relax on, or for those who like adventure, head off into the Gulf Stream for some big-game fishing and see if you can snag a blue shark. Fishing is still very much an important industry in Looe and if you get up early enough you can experience the vibrant atmosphere at the morning fish auction and grab yourself a bargain to knock up for dinner on the gas stove of your privately owned Looe holiday cottage. You also have the choice of some inviting gourmet restaurants serving up the catch of the day, but what better way to experience the English seaside than its famous fish and chips served in a plastic tray and wrapped in paper. Cornwall has a wealth of natural beauty and nature lovers are as well hiring a car and exploring the caves, coves and woodland trails of the surrounding area. You are also within easy reaching distance of fun days out for all the family to enjoy including Adrenalin Quarry, the monkey Sanctuary and Polperro Model Village.

When to go to Looe
