About this property
Trewarden lies off the beaten track only quarter of a mile from Crackington Village Stores. Situated on the side of a tranquil, wooded valley with a ford and running stream, it is just under two miles from the renowned surfing beach of Crackington Haven.
With its self-contained guest quarters, Trewarden is ideal for a couple in the double bedroom with a state of the art king-size bed. It can also accommodate a family of four, as the ensuite sitting room has a double sofa bed. There is Sky TV to entertain you after the invigorating cliff top walks and surfing opportunities for which the neighbourhood is so famous - in front of the gas long fire. For dog owners there are two fields and woods for them to roam freely as well as a network of National Trust footpaths that criss cross the region between Boscastle and Bude.
The bathroom has both a shower and bath with underfloor heating. There will be a fully equipped kitchen by Easter.
Guests may like to take advantage of the delicious Full English Breakfast available from the Cabin Cafe by the beach at the Haven. For dining out our local pub, the Coombe Barton has good beer, wine, delicious fish and chips and the Sunday Carvery is outstanding for the price.
Should guests wish to go further afield there is the wonderful River Life Cafe and Bistro in Bude, (book in advance) as well as Elements and the Bay View in Widemouth Bay. The Cobweb and the Wellington in Boscastle are also well worth a visit.
Should you wish to eat in, Crackington Village Stores sells everything from Cornish Specialities, good wines, sundried tomatoes and freshly made curries....
Please bear in mind we have a three night stay minimum.
