A floating Amsterdam "Home away from Home". "When you enter this cozy houseboat you immediately feel a great sense of comfort. You cannot just call this an ordinary houseboat. It's a home away from home with utmost hospitality by the family." (ATCB: our first travel agency)
The houseboat looking like one, actually consists of 2 boats connected to each other. One part has been recently renovated and redecorated in 2014. This charming 30 m2 no smoking B&B lets 2 cozy and colorful double rooms (one giving entrance to the terrace) for honeymooners, couples and businesspeople. It has all modern facilities like internet access, DVD and cable TV, includes comfortable double beds, full bath in a glass mosaic decorated bathroom, special touches like flowers, quality fruit, breakfast amenities, piano & guitar and a personal welcoming atmosphere.
What's more, this houseboat has a LOUNGE OUTSIDE: a beautiful and spacious floating terrace surrounded by plants and reed and decorated with charming garden furniture. On the left you can either lounge outside and relax or sit outside for an enjoyable meal overlooking the canal (smoking allowed, no drugs, on the private side you may meet others).
This hospitable houseboat lies central in a quiet and peaceful residential area of Amsterdam. It is at 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from all major attractions (like Dam, Rijksmuseum, van Gogh, Anne Frankhuis etc.), has shops and open air market around the corner and there are direct trams to Central Station (15 minutes).
To facilitate your stay the family provides you with a personalised map of Amsterdam and assists for all relevant information!
