“Great location, home from home!” We stayed for a week in the townhouse over the Easter holidays. Very much as all the other reviews on here; excellent location, quiet yet within easy walking distance to the centre of Honfleur. The house has all the amenities of a home rather than a holiday let, with great views over the estuary. Pretty much faultless. We used the house as a base to explore Normandy; Bayeux, Rouen, D-Day beaches and so much more within easy driving distance. The excellent location allows you to wander around the lovely port of Honfleur once all the crowds have dispersed. We would thoroughly recommend it for a Normandy stay.

this is a great venue for a large gathering. the house is large, beautiful, quirky ,full of character. the grounds are lovely, safe for children, great trees for climbing. the pool is warm, clean and well looked after. the kitchens are well equipped. there are several barbecues. the sea is not too far away. there are folk coming every day or so to make sure things are ok. Angela provided champagne and lovely hotel dressing gowns in every room and that made us feel very welcome. Find the very narrow entrance alley big enough for a medium car the courtyard is big enough to manoeuvre into the garage.Upstairs to the very well appointed flat.We were touring the D-day. beach's but being in the centre of town was very exciting and new to us excellent food and bakery right on the doorstep.With the window open you could hear the Bells of the Notre Ram ringing..Really enjoyed our stay. … see more

Wonderful Home from Home

Stayed here for a week and was very impressed by every aspect of the booking process with Sally & Harry and for the superb attention to detail in the house with absolutely everything you need. The house is so convenient for walking into the centre of Honfleur and also for taking a walk down to the beach through the well maintained Park. The parking space is a great bonus and I can imagine that the garden in the Summer is a real sun trap. La Blonderie Rentals and Cookery School
Wonderful family holiday

My family and I had such a fantastic time at La Blonderie. From the accommodation to the host to the area itself - everything was terrific. We were so pleased with the apartment. It's a great size and beautifully decorated. I had been a bit worried about the safety of the balcony for our (then) two year old, but it was fine actually. Sinead gave us such a warm welcome. She even moved two of the hens into a little coup outside our apartment so that we could have fresh eggs. Our daughter loved going out to see if anything was there (I suspect Sinead occasionally planted eggs for her to find from the main coup so she wouldn't be disappointed!). A highlight for me was the day spent with the cooking school. We went to the markets to buy the produce in the morning, then cooked together (under sinead's direction) and ate our delicious meal. We had so much fun. Sinead is full of stories! We had great craic! I think we struck lucky with the weather. We had two weeks of uninterrupted sunshine so we spent lots of time at the beach, which was great.The Park attached to the local beach is brilliant for kids too. All in all, a great holiday and one I'd recommend highly. We will definitely make a return trip at some point. (BTW Sinead, we had a baby boy ) … see more

Week away

Had a very pleasant surprise when we arrived. Converted farm building doesn’t do the place justice. Very well appointed and comfortable. We visited Bayeux, Dinard and Omaha beach whilst there and we were quite central. Will be back next year. … see more

Great place to stay for large family holiday

A wonderful place to stay. Plenty of space. We were a party of 10. The grandchildren loved the heated pool despite the autumn chill (even the adults went in). Rural with lovely views and really peaceful yet 2 small villages are close by for all amenities. Lots to do locally even on wet days. Table tennis a great hit and if grandchildren had been a bit older the bikes would have been used more. Beds really comfortable.
