“Comfortable, well furnished, fully equipped and ... in a perfect location!” If you are looking for an apartment to visit Lisbon and/or nearby towns, look no further because this is an ideal place to stay. Full of light thanks to three large windows with views over the Corpo Santo square and the river, comfortably and tastefully furnished and fully equipped with the best of Ikea, the living-dining-cooking area is open plan with a separate small double bedroom (with a very comfortable bed), bathroom (with a big and powerful shower) and utility room which is handy to store suitcases, shoes and coats. Thanks to heaters in the living area and bathroom the flat was lovely and warm even in December. Less than 5 minutes from the train/metro station at Calais de Sodre, the central Praca do Comercio and the lively, smart Chiado district, with the riverside promenade, restaurants, shops and a supermarket to hand, the apartment is ideally located. We walked everywhere without ever taking city transport ... except for one day when we splashed out on the 24-hr all-inclusive city transport ticket (€6! )and rode on all the trams and "elevadores" (historical cable cars and lifts) round town - great fun, especially the picturesque 28E tram and .... what a view from the top terrace of the Santa Justa lift! Lisbon and its inhabitants are just delightful: our favourites were: the castle, the viewpoints (miradoures), Alfama, the cathedral in the evening sunlight, Estoril basilica and gardens, the Expo area with its futuristic architecture and wonderful open spaces and gardens for walking, the riverside promenades, strolling round Chiado and Baixa in the evening with stops to drink ginjinha and eat custard and cinammon tarts, Belem with its magnificent monastery, tower, riverside walk with views of the 25 April bridge and custard tarts (the best!), Sintra (half an hour's train ride from Rossio station) - especially the walk through the woods up to the picturesque Moorish castle (fab views!) and National Palace (we did not enjoy the Pena Palace - a 19th century Disneyland creation), visiting Cascais (don't miss the gardens and museum in the house owned by the Irishman O'Neill) and walking along the promenade to Estoril eating freshly caught and grilled fish in a restaurant overlooking the Atlantic ..... and buying canned fish, port, cherry brandy, cinnamon, salted cod and all sorts of other specialities in Via Arsenal, just outside the apartment! We are sure there is plenty more to return for! Filippo and Susana made booking and settling in easy and quick so a big thank you to them - obligada!

“Lovely Apartment” We had a wonderful stay here in June. The apartment was superb. Very clean and nicely furnished with everything you could possibly need. It was only a few minutes walk to the centre of Lisbon. The owners were very accommodating. Allowing us to leave our luggage prior to check in as we arrived in Lisbon early morning. The lovely bottle of wine was a nice touch too and much appreciated. If we return to Lisbon in the future we would stay we would definitely stay here again.

“The perfect place to stay: located in authentic and vibrating area of Lisbon. A real "home away from home" !” The apartment is beautiful and spacious with rooms styled in a mix of old and modern giving each corner its special charm. The beds are new and fresh, the bathrooms clean and the kitchen is extremely well equiped. We were greated by a bottle of delicious Portuguise red wine which made us immidiately feel welcomed and at home. The hosts are great people who knows to recommend places to see and visit and who give personal and close attention to all our needs. The location is incredible: one minute from the food market and numerous restaurants, bars and cafees. The best coffee is just on the lively and fun square outside the building! We are waiting for the first opportunity to go back and visit. It was a perfect way to have vacation!!

“Charming, cozy apartment in Castelo Sao Jorge” The apartment is lovely and cozy, located within the walls of Castelo Sao Jorge. Ana stocked the fridge with plenty of goodies and had fresh bread and sweets ready for us. There was plenty of coffee and tea in the pantry so we never had to go out for breakfast. Ana also told us about several great places to visit and was so helpful when we asked for restaurant recommendations. Our stay in Lisbon was unforgettable, thanks in large part to ana's hospitality and her beautifully furnished apartment. Getting out into town requires a lot of walking up and down cobbled streets, so be prepared for a cardio experience.

“It seemed like home away from home” The place was absolutely clean and inviting when we got there. The apartment had all the conveniences one is used to (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer). The bowl of fruit on the table was a special treat. It is located so close to everything. A short walk takes you to the main square on the waterfront. The train station to Cascais and the subway access was just a few hundred meters away. Buses and trams were available with regular and great frequency. We used the apartment like our home. It was a base to come back to at the end of each day's sight-seeing or museum and gallery visitations. The king bed was very comfortable and we had very restful nights. Being in this modern apartment in the middle of historic and old Lisbon was just wonderful. We enjoyed the sights out of the windows and in the immediate neighborhood. Probably the best thing was the comfort of a place which felt like home. There wasn't anything that we didn't like about our stay. However, for the less active persons, there are 43 stairs from the ground to the apartment, so make sure you exercise before you come and stay here.

“Best Way to Experience Lisboa” My husband and I stayed at the Casa Santana for 4 weeks during the summer and couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. It is truly an authentic way to experience all that Lisbon has to offer. Austin and Jordan were incredibly helpful prior to arrival and throughout our stay, providing local information, maps, and being easily accessible to answer questions. The apartment is beautiful, moderns, clean and most importantly, centrally located. The views are absolutely spectacular and you can easily walk to virtually anywhere you would want to go. Despite being right off of the Rossio, the neighborhood its tucked away and very authentic and quite. It was really the ideal location to experience Lisbon! Our month at the Casa Santana was truly one of the best and most memorable experiences of our lives! We cannot wait to return!

“Home from Home all you need and more” We've just returned from two fabulous weeks in the Portugal sun. Made so much better by staying in Casa Limoa. We occupied all three of the seperate accomodation homes, we travelled with son and daughter and our grand children, which meant us old codgers had our own space as did mums and dad respectiveley. All able to share the pool area which worked really well, alongside the pool was a comfortable shaded "den" area where you could watch the pool and youngsters in comfort and shade. A short walk up and down a fairly steep hill to the town centre took only 10 mins at a gentle pace, where there is everything you would want. A great safe beach in a bay is just at the town centre. Not a bustling or noisy town and felt very freindly and safe. This was our second holiday in Caevoeiro and our first with Dave and Karen at Casa Limoa, and we must say how kind and attentive they were, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this villa and we would book again without question.

“Relax to the Max!!” We visited this wonderful apartment in June 2013. Communication with the owners was excellent, (they couldn't have made it easier) and the management company very professional. The pictures don't do the apartment justice and it has everything you could want, the location very tranquil (especially as only a couple of the other apartments were being used when we were there), we didn't want to leave!! This is our third visit to Portugal previously renting apartments in Alvor and Porto Do Mos, but this apartment is our favourite by far! We had already arranged to have a hire car, but the owners are more than happy to arrange transfers to and from the airport. The location is great - opposite (and I really mean opposite) the lovely beach of Meia Praia, approx. 30mins walk (either on the side of the road or on the beach) to Lagos Marina, or you can get a local bus or train from just across the road from the apartment (which both run regularly). Lagos itself is a lovely old town with lots of good restaurants. There is also a golf course (Val Da Lama I think) just up the road - several people had left messages in the guest book saying that a twilight round, buggy and hire of clubs was around €55. We found this location also great to visit other beaches towards the most western tip of the Algarve (Sagres) - only 20/30 mins away by car from a number of many lovely bays/beaches (some of which are great for surfing) e.g. Beliche, Zavial, Tonnel & Mareta plus many others in-between. All in all a wonderful holiday in a wonderful apartment and we look forward to visiting again one day soon!

“A perfect venue away from gated hotel land from which to explore the Island or simply rest and relax.” I have just returned from a 3 week stay at Casa Pico Musica and would readily recommend the venue to anyone who wished to be based away from hotel land. The accommodation is absolutely suited to the solo visitor or couple with everything available for self catering and only 5 minutes walk downhill to the delightful old centre of Funchal. Michael your host is a mine of useful information and nothing was too much trouble including transfers to and from the airport at a much reduced price and trips around the island. I made full use of the local shops situated 2 minutes walk uphill from the property where everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Here you can buy fantastic local produce have a coffee beer or glass of wine ((at half the cost of downtown ) and be made to feel really welcome. Absolutely brilliant and I hope to return for 4 weeks next year.

“Great Location” We've just come back from a wonderful week in Funchal, staying in this lovely apartment. It's just 5 minutes to the marina, less to the Main Street and just 50 paces to a large shopping centre with a great supermarket. But it's tucked down a little Road with a few lovely restaurants yet amazingly quiet. The balcony is spacious and a great place to soak up the sun. The lift to this 3rd floor apartment was welcome when lugging cases and it had everything you need, plus it's light and airy. I'd have no hesitation in recommending and I'm sure we'll go back

Prompt responses from owner with friendly and helpful assistance from Sandra in the resort ( she sorted our parking ticket out for us). Had slight unease over big security deposit but this is a top spec apt and it was returned promptly. Whirlpool bath was v welcome after the day's hiking!

“fantastic apartment perfectly located” Simple and stylish, this spacious apartment is perfectly located in the centre of Lisbon - just minutes from most of the main sights and transport links. We had great meals in three different restaurants in the next street. We took advantage of the airport transfer service offered and were made to feel very welcome. Everything in the apartment is exactly as described - the lift, A/C and Wifi all worked fine, and everything was very clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

The apartment itself overlooks a square with lovely doors that open in both the living room and bedroom. Nice wooden shutters on the doors too. “Excellent place also for a young family to have relaxing vacations on Madeira” We had wonderful vacations with our 10 months baby and the villa was best placed to feel like being at home for us. Firstly, the villa has an excellent location as it can very easily be accessed from the airport (20 mins drive by car), has a nice garden and provides for a very relaxing atmosphere and is at the same time very closely located to the centre of Madeira's capital Funchal (10 mins drive by car, bus connections available). Secondly, the villa provides for three bedroom and a very big combined kitchen / living room (approx 60 sqm) and is so well-equipped that everything is available that you will need if you wish to cook on your own (far beyond our expectations). Thirdly, and most importantly, the onsite manager Joao is a real asset - who very charmingly offers help, assistance and information and you can easily get in touch with him 24/7. Supermarkets, gas station, bus stop, bakery and an excellent take away place are in short distance (10 mins by walk). Joao also took us along to a very nice Levada tour which was suitable to take along our 10months baby. Great place - our warmest recommendation for the villa. The only aspect that was not ideal was the fact that (owed to the March season) the villa was a bit chilly in the mornings (17 degrees) which could be remedied with engaging the three radiators available in the big kitchen/living room.

“Amazing, bright, clean, well equipped” Just back from a 2 week stay at Mario's apartment and will definitely stay longer next time. It was amazing, very clean, bright and well equipped. It was a perfect location, handy to buses and the tourist train, close to the beach and restaurants. Mario picked us up from the airport for free which was a great service. We arrived to a lovely care package. Mario was very helpful throughout our stay and checking regularly that everything was well. I would highly recommend this apartment.

“Exceptional view, perfect holiday base” This has to be the best view on the complex from this apartment balcony! With a sea/beach view, pool view and also view of old town you are spoilt for choice where to look. Loads of room in apartment, really spacious with all amenities provided. Loved having a washing machine for mid holiday wash! Location could not have been better, 5 mins walk downhill to old town and supermarket at bottom of hill 2 mins walk - a larger supermarket approx 5 mins walk away if required. There is some noise from old town at night time but this but this did not disturb us with doors closed. Already recommending to friends, can't wait to go back! Excellent communication with Philippa - even got a message to us in taxi return to airport warning of delays.

“highly recommended!!” We had already read many favorable reviews about the apartment when booking this, and I have almost nothing to add. Everything was exactly as described and better. I can’t say I’ve ever stayed at a place which was better equipped! Everything is so thoroughly thought out and complete, furnished and decorated with care and much love obviously for the ‘business’. Although the apartment is not big it’s extremely comfortable and everything super clean. The location is fantastic in the very heart of Alfama, with restaurants and bars everywhere around you. A café for coffee and sandwiches or croissants for a nice breakfast right at your doorstep and tram 28 rattling by to take you anywhere if you’re tired of walking. Most astonishing, I found, was the personal care and attention of the owner of the apartment, Rui. He contacted us personally shortly before our arrival, he picked us up from the station, welcomed us to the apartment and not just by handing over keys. There was a welcoming basket with a small bottle of wine, maps of the city and Rui took time to explain things and make sure we were settled in comfortably. At the end of our stay he even drove us to the airport!! I was truly and pleasantly surprised and have rarely met such a warm welcome and such outstanding, honest and friendly service. I shall gladly recommend InnLisbon to anyone who asks me or of whom I hear they are going to Lisboa!!
