Located in the grounds of the court of Prince Llewelyn the ancient ruler of Wales, ‘Mabon’s House’ lies within a traditional stone built complex. Accessed up a flight of stone stairs you enter a newly refurbished, modern apartment that feels worlds away from its historical setting.
The contemporary decoration and open plan living area gives a lovely feeling of space to the relaxed sitting room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The multi-aspect windows offer views out over the common, the rolling dunes, and the neighbouring farmland.
The spacious double bedroom boasts an ensuite shower room and the skylights in the sloping ceilings allow a glimpse of Anglesey’s renowned Dark Skies.
Set within the small Llys Llewelyn heritage and accommodation complex there is ample parking, a thriving café and tea room, offering home-cooked food throughout the day, from breakfast, lunches and afternoon tea – with an irresistible selection of home-baked cakes and scones on offer!
Ty Mabon –is an ideal retreat for two, offering the perfect base within the village, for investigating historical Aberffraw, heading to the beach or exploring the wider sights of Anglesey.

“Home from home!”
Ty Mabon was warm and homely and made the perfect base for our short stay. It is very well equipped and we would highly recommend it when staying on Anglesey. There were not many people around in January but the locals in The Crown were very friendly and welcoming!

“Peaceful Haven”
Superb little flat in the village of Aberfraw. Very quiet and peaceful, with beautiful beach, and scenery. If you like walking, and wildlife. Will definately return, great value for money.
