Description
'Mavi Inci' ('Blue Pearl') is a two-bedroom ground-floor air conditioned apartment in the Emir Apartment Complex (formerly the Hotel Mina) that offers superb views over the town and bay. A 5-10 minute walk takes you to the shops and a wonderful choice of restaurants for which Kalkan is famous. The apartment complex is in a quiet location, and boasts two pools, one of which is the largest in the area and features a shallow end perfect for children. Dine al fresco on the apartment's private terrace or soak up the sunshine from a sun-bed around the pool. The apartment's open-plan layout makes for easy living and is well equipped to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. With one double, one twin bedroom and a modern shower-room the apartment is ideal for families or couples.
If you are looking to holiday with extended family or friends, we are in touch with the owners of other similar apartments on the Emir and so, subject to availability, multiple apartments could be booked.
The Accommodation:
Laid out on one level, on entering the apartment via a small hallway, there is a an open plan living area with kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with all white goods and has an adjoining kitchen table with chairs to seat four people. The living area is decorated in a clean Mediterranean style and has two, 2 seater sofas and coffee table. There is a TV with DVD player.
The master bedroom is accessed just off the main living area and is a spacious room with king sized bed, dressing table and wardrobes.
The second twin bedroom is located off the entrance hallway and has two single twin beds, wardrobes and dressing table. This is a large room and there is ample space for the Z-bed which can accommodation a fifth guest.
Next to the master bedroom is the family bathroom which has been recently renovated to a very high standard. The bathroom has a sink unit, WC and walk in shower.
Outside there is a breakfast balcony accessed off the living room which is furnished with a small table and chairs for two.
The apartment also has a small, private front garden area which has lots of pretty Mediterranean planting. This area is furnished with a marble topped dining table and four chairs- the perfect place to enjoy al fresco dining. The largest pool on the complex is just a few steps away from the apartment and has a fantastic separate children's section.

“Gorgeous”
Great apartment, well equipped, clean, homely and central to explore the little gem that is kalkan. On site managers a nice little touch to have should you need anything. Can't fault location. Lots of restaurants and harbour and beach walking distance although lots of hills so don't bring heels! Good way to keep fit and work off the delicious Turkish food. Have stayed there before and will again without hesitation.

Excellent apartment, definitely as described. Very clean, comfortable & well equipped. Lovely views from inside & out. Complex very clean, tidy & well looked after and the onsite staff are very helpful. Location excellent for local amenities (shops, market, restaurants) and close enough to the main town for an easy stroll but far enough away to make it a peaceful holiday. Would be happy to stay there again.
“very relaxing”
We had a lovely week in the Mavi apartment , it was a great location near the shops and restaurants and we soon found our way around , It was just steps to the pool and we enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace having our gin and tonic before we headed out for dinner. The owners were great very easy to deal with and I found Kalkan so friendly would love to come back one day

“Perfect Stay”
Great apartment, perfect location for walking into town to beach and restaurants. Stayed with a friend for a short stay and couldn't fault it. Lovely, clean, really nice complex it is set in with managers on site should you need help with anything. Really would recommend this as a great centrally located place to stay to explore the beauty that is Kalkan.
“Mavi Inci ...a home away from home!”
I have stayed at Emir apartments regularly over the past 3 years. The site is well maintained and ideally placed for a stay in Kalkan. This apartment in particular is so beautifully decorated and made to cater for your every need - even down to plug converters and cling film! It is so.nice to know that the owners really care that you have a great stay and have gone the extra mile to think about what you might need to make your stay that bit extra special. If they could just sort out someone to carry me up the hills of Kalkan that would be the icing on the cake...but as we agreed, a taxi is cheaper than an ambulance!
“A great find”
We have recently returned from Kalkan, this was our third visit to this area, but first at the Mavi Inci apartment at the Emir Complext. We enjoyed the apartment it was home from home, fitted out with everything you could want for a self-catering holiday, and lovely wine glasses. It was very well situated just a few steps down to the beautiful pool, and had great views from the kitchen window and small terrace. We enjoyed our stay that much that we have booked 3 weeks next year.
“Perfect location”
Have just arrived home from Mavi Inci and wish we were still there. The apartment, Emir complex and location in Kalkan were all perfect. The views from the complex are spectacular; the 24/7 management service was very good, including daily rubbish collection from the apartment and immaculate cleanliness of pools and surrounding areas, as well as help with restaurant bookings. The apartment owners ensured that the booking process was fast and effective, with prompt answers to any questions that we had. We would definitely recommend Mavi Inci as very comfortable and great value for money
