Description

The bungalow is located right in the crofting village of Achiltibuie and positioned high up overlooking Tanera Mor and the Summer Isles providing absolutely stunning sea and mountain views. The house is spacious and offers a great space for a large family, two families or groups in comfortable self catering accommodation. It is an excellent base to explore the Scottish West Highlands that are some of the last "wild places" on the mainland of the UK. The accommodation is all on one level. There are four bedrooms with two bathrooms. The kitchen is spacious and fitted with all modern conveniences including washer, tumble dryer and dishwasher. There is full central heating and the living room has an open hearth, so a welcoming fire can be stoked in more chilly seasons and is perfect at the end of an active day out on the hills. There are fantastic views from the windows and the bungalow is located in the village and easy walking distance to the Summer Isles Hotel and bar. There is a local award winning restaurant 'SALT' a short walk away, the Piping School Cafe is very close by and there is also a good local shop and fuel in the village.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Nic and Samantha (the owner) a message.

If Nic and Samantha (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
