The Oval Eye is a family run holiday village set in a quiet area in Alsancak, ideal for people who enjoy relaxing in a natural atmosphere.

There are studio 1 bed and 2 bed apartments to suit all families, all apartments have a kitchenette, fridge, washing machine, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning.

There is a large fresh water swimming pool (18m x 9m) with an additional children’s pool (8m x 4m).

There are lots of historical places to visit in Northern Cyprus including the famous Salamis ruins, Kyrenia Castle and Selimiye Mosque.

The beaches of Northern Cyprus are among the cleanest and safest in the Mediterranean. The average water temperature is 24°C between May-October. Some of these beaches will offer activities such as: water skiing, banana rides, jet-ski, wind surfing and scuba diving.

“Perfectly simple self-catering apartments”

Our stay at The Oval Eye Paradise was just want we had hoped for! The little holiday complex is set just off the main road in Alsancak, and its extremely peaceful!!! Its just a short walk from the apartments to the main road, where local buses run frequently into Girne and Lapta. The pool area was beautiful and there were always plenty of sunbeds. Despite being on a self catering holiday, our bedsheets were still changed every couple of days. Yusuf (The Owner) was really great to communicate with before we flew out and also when we were there. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble and if we needed anything, all we had to do was ask. He is a genuinely lovely person. Overall, the apartments may be a simple layout and design, but if you're looking for a peaceful place for a self-catering holiday, with easy access to local transport, then this is the perfect place for you!!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Yusuf (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
