“The best views of any cottage I have stayed in.”

Reviewed 22 May 2017

The location was excellent and the car park was enormous. It was an excellent centre for touring and it was so quiet and relaxing.

“Lovely Cottage”

Reviewed 28 Sep 2016

Upon arrival there was tea, coffee and biscuits left for us on the kitchen table and a visit from a member of Anne's family popped in to make sure everything was ok. The cottage was clean, tidy and very comfortable with lovely views over the loch and Eileen Doonan Castle which is lit up at night. Good location for Skye - you can get a ferry from Sleat to Mallaig and drive or take a train to Glen Finnan. The Wester Ross coastal trail to Applecross is a must. The local pub in Dornie, the Clachan, is very friendly and the steaks are good. Pop to Plockton (Hamish McBeth land) and try the scallops in the Plockton Inn, also very good. There was nothing we didn't like other than having to leave...

“Parfait, agreable parfairement situe. Des biches sont meme venues nous faire un brin de causette ce soir”

D'ailleurs nous souhaiterions le laisser dans l'etat mais impossible de trouver le balai ou l'aspirateur. Nous recommandons vivement ce gite pour toute personne desirant decouvrir l'ile de skye et les highland. Et puis cette vue sur Eleian Donan Castle de votre litMerci Anne et Margaret pour votre accueil
