You are visiting a new listing (February 2018) for a property which has earned multiple 5*reviews under a different host/manager on Tripadvisor since 2013. For 4 subsequent years the property owner, Marianne, has been the physical host, welcoming all visitors, assisting to make their stay a warm, comfortable and memorable experience. You are kindly invited to refer to just a few of the past reviews for this property from the previous listing, through the photos, as print screens, since Marianne has taken over the correspondence and full hosting with prospective visitors and is, at present, looking forward to answering your inquiries.

Welcome to A.U.R.A. - Acropolis Unique Residence Apartments and the A.U.R.A. Elegant Apartment 3.

A privately owned building with 2 apartments and the owner’s home, built in 2005, offers visitors a cordial atmosphere as well as full privacy. The building is continuously being improved at the owner’s attentiveness. Please note, that in case of no vacancy or a request for an even larger accommodation, visitors are kindly asked to visit the Penthouse, of equal comfort, in the same building, which also includes a shared roof top terrace and heated pool.

The A.U.R.A. 3d floor Elegant Apartment 3 is situated at the 3d floor, served by a large elevator. There are 5 comfortable bedrooms and 5 bathrooms next to each one of them from which one en suite that include 3 bathtubs and 2 showers.

All bedrooms are flexible as regards accommodation with queen or twin beds. The kitchen area is convenient for homemade preparations to enjoy a nice meal at the large dining table found at the sun bathing patio, overlooking the Acropolis at the end of the tree-lined street.

The patio’s large windows offer a nice view over the street’s life through the curtains which make up a beautiful theatrical scene as guests are gazing at the neighborhood’s residents passing by. The patio is particularly inviting to all guests as a relaxing lounge area with a comfy sofa and pouffes.

All areas offer separate A/C through fan coils which rely on geothermal and solar energy. The apartment is quite spacious, extending to 180 sq.m. offering guests autonomy and privacy which are so valuable during travelling even among the closest group members.

Parking is available upon request, free of charge. A car would be needed just for day excursions out of Athens. Security doors and password for the main entrance offer peace of mind to guests who may feel unsecure while traveling. Quiet hours prevail in Greece also in the middle of the day which all visitors are kindly requested to respect. The entire building, highly innovative for Athenian standards, relies on geothermal and solar energy in order to guarantee an absolute heating and cooling effect through an under floor system (for longer term rentals) and fan coils, hot running water as well as the heating of the roof top swimming pool / non-available for this apartment. Re-cycling is realized through special bins at the ground floor of premises. Visitors are encouraged to support environment friendly actions.

Finally, the A.U.R.A. Elegant Apartment 3 is literally 10 minutes’ walk from the Acropolis, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus participating at the Athens & Epidaurus Festival during summer, 15 min walk from the Acropolis museum and Plaka, through lovely pedestrian streets. The Athens Riviera is also just a 9.0 km away and the most attractive neighborhoods are all around the neighborhood of Thission. At last a number of services are available upon request, including personal trainer, yoga trainer and physiotherapist’s / homeopathy treatments, as well as airport or any other transfer in or out of Athens.

A large choice of cafes, traditional taverns and restaurants as well as local shops offer visitors the option to spend time in the neighborhood if they please and acquire the inside knowledge of Athens! The A.U.R.A. Elegant Apartment 3 is a 10-15 minutes’ walk to the most important attractions but outside the touristy mass or city noise so even the owner is often still taken by surprise from the calm it offers.
