We have been to this villa once before in 2014 and we loved it so much decided to book again for 2015. As we expected the villa did not let us down once more. It was wonderful, relaxing & perfect again for everything we need for a great holiday There is nothing it lacks We will be back soon Thanks Bob & Vicky Regards Helen & Martin Wadsworth - Huddersfield
“Lovely villa with excellent facilities for singletons, couples or families”
A lovely well presented clean and modern villa located just outside the sleepy village of Avgorou. The locals we met all very polite and friendly. We would recommend a car as slightly isolated if you are planning to see more of the island. We had an enjoyable week on our first time in Cyprus.
We always stay in private villas when on holiday and can honestly say that this one is the best we have ever stayed in, a real home from home. The attention to detail, decoration, kitchen equipment and all other aspects of the villa is second to none. Everything you could possibly want or need. The local rep "Leftaris" was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again here when returning to Cyprus.
“What a gem!”
The excellent instructions to get to the villa made the journey from Larnaca airport very easy and within a matter of minutes of arriving it felt like home. Everything that you would require for your stay was available, including a very useful welcome pack as our flight was delayed. The villa was very clean, the beds comfortable and the pool great after travelling for half a day getting there. For us the location was perfect, on the edge of a nice, quiet, Cypriot village, but still close enough to the high-life, towns and beaches, if you wished to visit these. The local rep, Lefteris, was first class. Turned out he knew where someone I had not seen for 35 years lived, which enabled us to have a unexpected re-union. I cannot thank him enough and shall miss our chats. Everyone we met in the village was friendly and while shopping at Lidl or the Metro is slightly cheaper it was great fun trying out the rusty Greek in the local shops, though we did end up with more meat than expected at the butchers. Luckily there is a BBQ at the villa and this was extensively used. If you want to experience the real side of Cypriot lifestyle, enjoy some peace and quiet, but occasionally want to let your hair down, this is the place. The biggest problem is leaving it all behind and coming home.
“home from home full of sunshine.”
We booked this villa as it was only 5 mins away from where my brother lives, this proved to be an excellent choice as the villa was all i could have wished for, lots of out door space to enjoy the BBQ, drinks & pool and the inside was imaculate. The owner Bob was very helpful from start to finish and even helped with our airport transfer, Lefterasis greeted us at the villa on arrival and gave us all the info we needed to explore the village and as he owned a local coffee bar we made good use of this too - a great fella. The village is a 5 min walk and has a selection of supermarkets, places to eat, a splendid bakery and fine pub, i would recomend hiring a car if you want to explore further afield. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay and i'd fully recomend the villa and local village if its a relaxing hoilday you are looking for.
“Perfect two weeks of relaxation and traquility”
Had a fantastic, restful two weeks in Avgorou. Weve visited Avgorou before and it was lovely to be back. The villa was fantastic, providing absolutely everything you could ask for. Our teenage son made good use of the wifi and satellite tv for wimbledon. We would definately recommend the villa. Dont forget to hire a car though so you can drive around the lovely tavernas for dinner. We love Cyprus!
The perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday .The villa had everything you need. a real home from home. The attention to detail was spot on. The villa and pool were very clean & well equipped. Big thank you to Judith (local agent) for her help and knowledge of the area. Also thank to bob (the owner) could not have been more helpful
“Beautiful, comfortable, well equipped villa - a home from home.”
Villa Dragonfly is situated in a quiet no-through road (1 of 5 villas). It is beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly want for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The pool is great for cooling off when it gets too hot and there is a lovely covered area outside as well with a table and chairs to seat 6, so you can grab some shade and eat in comfort. Indoors there is air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room. We had two teenagers in our group (17 and 16) and they were kept entertained by the pool, the tv and dvd player, the nintendo wii (with several games to choose from) and access to the internet so they could keep up with their facebook accounts! The owners really have thought of everything, including writing a comprehensive handbook with instructions on how to work everything in the villa and ideas for places to visit with directions which we found invaluable. The representatives were very helpful and available to help with any queries - they also made sure the pool was kept nice and clean. Tips - hire a car so you can get to the lovely beaches easily and drive into Aiya Napa if you have teens! The best supermarket is a short drive away as well and in the height of the summer you don't want to walk far with heavy shopping, although there are some good shops in the village (including a fantastic bakery) within walking distance. All in all, a fantastic holiday destination - nice and quiet but within easy reach of lively resorts as well.
“Perfect relaxing holiday”
This villa was perfect for a relaxing holiday for me and 2 friends. The villa was in a quiet location, but in walking distance of a small selection of shops and restaurants. It was also only a 15 minute drive for the more lively town of Ayia Napa, providing a great night out if required. The villa was quite a new property, which was very comfortable, perfectly clean and very well equipped. There were a range of DVDs, board games, and a wii console also with a range of games. This provided us with entertainment for the evening or in the daytime to escape the heat for an hour or so. The outside areas were also beautiful and lovely for sitting out in the evening. Overall this was a lovely holiday, ideal and well suited to a wide range of people.
“spotless villa, well equipt, quiet location, home from home, will go back again.”
The Villa was excellent, very clean it had everything we could possibly need. It has extensive benefits within to keep young children occupied in the evenings, Nintendo Wi, fast Wifi access so they can keep in touch with friends via social media (keeps mobile phone cost down), DVD/CD players, Sat TV etc. The fact towels were supplied for use in the villa or for pool and beach to use is an added bonus, the washing machine also meant that you saved on how much luggage to take with you, with temperature's touching the 40's it only took max 1 hr to dry any washing. The pool was a good size and in the sun all day. Great areas round the pool for sun bathing. A decked and covered area great for eating outside. We will be using this villa again in the very near future. The Reps for this property live at the start of the drive so any advice on local facilities can be obtained at any time. Tips The Villa is located in a lovely village with walking distance to local shops for all your needs where english is understood, a car is essential if you want to travel to the nearest beaches. Protoris and Napa beaches are approx 15mins drive away.
