Located in the picturesque village of Azoia, between the Atlantic Ocean and the fabulous Serra de Sintra, the "Charming little Castle" has been restored according to the traditional rural architecture to provide you with a warm and relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy a peaceful holiday. With a double bedroom and a living room with a fireplace, which comfortably accommodates a grown up or two children, also featuring a fully equipped kitchen, this duplex will surely provide a memorable stay.

The space was entirely remodeled and it is decorated in a comfortable, modern and light fashion, and it is particularly bright. On the ground floor there is the living room, the kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. Up the stairs there is the bedroom with a king size bed, a large closet, a reading chair, a terrace with sea view and a complete bathroom. The house was put on the market on November 2016, ready for its début, so that is why there are currently no reviews. We are looking forward to our first guests and our first reviews also!

The house is located at the centre of Azoia, in Sintra. We recommend the use of a car; however guests can reach the house via public transports, namely by train to Cascais and then the bus 403, from Colares, connects Cascais (terminal) to Azóia.

Located in an area where Nature's beauty is rich in natural beauty, pollution-free, near Cabo da Roca (the westernmost point of continental Europe) and several internationally known beaches, such as Guincho beach (famous for its excellent qualities for surfing) and a few kms away from Sintra (City World Heritage Site) and Cascais, the “Castelinho da Azoia” has all the necessary conditions to offer you a magical and unforgettable holiday, exploring mountains and forests or simultaneously enjoy of a restful stay in a beach to your choice (near: Praia da Adraga, Praia Grande, Azenhas do Mar, Praia das Macas and Cascais beaches).

Check in Home notifies that it is mandatory to submit Accommodation Forms (‘Boletins de Alojamento’) declaring the entry of foreign citizens to SEF (Portuguese Immigration and Borders service), for all citizens entering the country through a border with no control, coming from another country within the European Union.

Check in Home will arrange for this proceeding, but for this it is required the presentation of an official identification document, such as passport or ID of all the guests, with the following details:

- Place of Birth

- Place where you live

- City where the passport was issued

The Forms are due three week days upon foreign guests’ arrival and exit. The deadline is calculated considering three whole days starting on the day of the check-in or check-out, regardless the hours marked when the registration occurred.

Both the display of identification and registration are mandatory for accommodation.

All personal data are dealt with absolute discretion and confidentiality.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
