Description

Welcome to our charming Gite, part of our 17thc. Longere which has been lovingly and carefully restored.

This property is welcoming, comfortably and attractively decorated throughout and is fully self-contained. The house comprises a large living room. a spacious, fully equipped and fitted kitchen/dining room with exposed beams and a wood-burning stove. There is a well equipped bathroom with shower facilities.

There are three bedrooms, one with three single beds and two double bed-rooms with an en-suite wash room & toilette room, between them. All Bed-linen and general household linen is provided and there is a cot for a small child. There is a spacious family bathroom, with bath and shower, toilet and wash-hand basin.

The heating throughout the house is electric. Cooking is provided by a 4 burner gas cooker with a gas oven A wood burning stove is in the kitchen - which is very popular with winter-time guests... The kitchen also contains a microwave oven and a washing machine and a fridge freezer.

Outside there is an attractive and generous garden with barbeque facilities for guests' use. Off-road parking for 3 vehicles is available. We are 10 mins from the large market town of Bain de Bretagne and 30 mins. from Rennes. It is a 25 mins. drive to Loheac - with its superb motor museum and racing circuit: 20 mins. to the market town of Chateaubriant: 2.25 hrs. to the famous Le Mans circuit and 2.5 hrs to Paris. From Bain de Bretagne take the D53 - Lalleu-Thourie Road, turning left just after the sign for la Bosse de Bretagne. The Gite is approx. 500m. down this road on the right hand side.

Local facilities include parks, lakes, a mini zoo, a cinema and swimming pools: museums, brocantes and a wide variety of sports amenities, including tennis courts, golf etc.

Getting around

Bus services in rural France are not good, so we advise guest to bring or hire a car in order to get around.

Interaction with guest

We greet guests personally and show them around the house and how the various electrical items function They are given specifically allocated parking spaces for their vehicles, which can be garaged if required. There is an information list in the property detailing all the local amenities, shopping areas, etc. As we live next door to the Gite, we are on hand to help with any enquiries that the guests may have.

How do damage deposits work?
