Quiet, relaxing, private and a 6 minute drive to town. This 600 sq ft country cozy private walkout suite is surrounded by trees and has all the beauty that nature brings. Enjoy the singing if the birds in the morning as you sip your coffee on the back deck or a glass of wine at night by the bonfire with gourmet S'mores. Enjoy a wonderful cozy evening curled up in your private living area on comfy furniture watching a movie from our collection (or Netflix) with a bag of popcorn from the snack bowl. Hot breakfast included each morning to start your day, you will have a variety of choices from my custom menu. Great for a girls getaway, temporary work in Bancroft. Couples getaway, sightseeing or just travelling through. We also have a large u shaped driveway great for your ATV or snowmobile trailers and you can hope right on your machines from your suite door as the trails are around the corner.

Getting around

Have time...Vance Farm has a wonderful little trail. Try Egan Chute for it's spectacular roaring rapids and hiking trail. Eagles Next for a scenic overview of Bancroft also with hiking trails. Millennium Park "Music in the Park" every Wednesday in the summer for music concerts, paddle boats along with Wattle and Daub Café and much more. Sodalite Mine offers a unique experience to take home with you as you chip away your samples of rocks and minerals.

Interaction with guest

I am Aileen (your host) and my husband is Dave. We live in the house and will be available 24-7. Please feel free to hunt us down if you need any help. Special occasions should always be celebrated! For an extra fee $35 you can have a bottle of wine (white or red) with Chocolates or chocolate dipped strawberries waiting in your suite when you arrive. Payment for this is due upon check in. I also provide a pack N'playard with changer for your bedroom with bedding, an extra mattress for the floor, toddler bed for your bedroom plus a booster seat with tray for the dining room. Infants are free.

Why can't I call Aileen (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Aileen (the owner) a message.

If Aileen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
