Description

Welcome to our newly renovated, lagoon front home. It is located in the family friendly neighborhood of High Bar Harbor on the northern end of Long Beach Island and provides water views from every room. The first floor offers a living room, family room, sitting area, kitchen with dining area and breakfast bar, and full bathroom. The second floor has four bedrooms that sleep 10, as well as a full bathroom. There is a 300 sq. ft. rooftop deck that is the perfect place to unwind as it offers gorgeous views of both the lagoon for sunrises and the bay for sunsets. Step out back into the spacious, fenced in yard which includes a gas grill, large dining table with umbrella, additional seating for lounging and a private outdoor shower for rinsing off after a backyard swim in the lagoon! There is a park/playground across the street for both kids and adults to enjoy.

If you prefer to venture out, both the bay beach (perfect for children) and the ocean beaches of Barnegat Light are only 1 mile away. Jump on your bike, walk or drive ½ mile to historic Viking Village for a leisurely stroll through the quaint shops. There you can pick up fresh produce at the local stand followed by either fish right off the boat from Cassidy’s Fish Market or seafood takeout from Off the Hook. A hop, skip and jump up the road, you will find "Old Barney”, the historic lighthouse located in Barnegat Lighthouse State Park. If you are feeling energetic, go ahead and climb the 217 steps to the top of the lighthouse for breathtaking views of LBI. Also in the immediate area are various restaurants, White’s Market and Poppy’s Ice Cream Parlour!

On the other end of the island, you will find both Fantasy Island Amusement Park and Thundering Surf Water Park which are always fun outings for everyone! There is access to a free bus shuttle that covers all 18 miles of LBI that is available at the entrance to High Bar Harbor which is only a short walk away. There is an app available on the App Store or Google Play, so you know when a shuttle is nearby.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Todd (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
