NEWS! From May 2018 on we have 4 bedrooms available for more comfort for larger groups! Please view details below. Pictures will follow!

Newly renovated historic Church – only minutes away from the wonderful sandy beaches of Cape Tormentine. Perfect for larger groups up to 24 people. (16 in bedrooms, 8 on double size sofa beds in the common space)

Enjoy our newly renovated church with a very large and comfortable open concept (1500 sq. ft.) Livingroom area, kitchen on the pedestal, pool table, large dining table for 12 guests and two lounge areas or relax by the bar and/or the covered outdoor deck.

Two of the bedrooms each has 1 California King size bed, each with it’s private onsuites. Additionally, 8 double size sofa beds are available. A third independent full bathroom and 2 more bedrooms are available.

New Bedroom # 3 is equipped with 2 double size beds and sleeps 4 guests.

New bedroom # 4 is equipped with 2 double size beds and sleeps 4 guests.

The Church House is fully equipped with all amenities: bedding, pillows, duvets, sheets, towels, BBQ, Internet, TV, dishwasher, two small fridges in the kitchen, 1 large fridge in the basement, 1 small chest freezer, micro wave, kettle, coffee maker, cuttlery, pots, pans, table ware....,etc.

Only a few minutes from Cape Jourimain Nature Centre (hiking area), the second largest bridge in the World our Confederation Bridge and Provincial Tourism Centres. Ideal location for day trips to explore PEI, the Hopewell Rocks having the highest tide in the World, the Moncton region and Nova Scotia. Minutes away to the Cape Tormentine Beach, General Stores for groceries, gas, and ice cream. Only 2.8 km away Cape Tormentine camp ground provides laundry facilities. Buy fresh lobsters right off the boats at Murray Corner or Cape Tormentine wharves or call the near by fishermen to cook the lobsters for you.

Waterfront: No but you can see parts of the Confederation Bridge and you are only minutes away from the wonderful sandy beaches of Cape Tormentine.

Getting around

The Church House is located only 3 min by car to the sandy beach of Cape Tormentine with free Access to the Cape Tormentine Beach Camp Ground. There you have a friendly nice convenient store and laundry facilities. In approx 40 min by car you will reach Shediac. The Confederation Bridge to head to PEI is only 2 km. Plan a Relaxing day trip to PEI. Appr. 2 h drive to the famous Hopewell Rocks.

It is a pleasure for us to welcome you in our unique Church House. Upon check-in we will meet you directly at the Church House to hand out the keys and show you arround. We will provide our home phone number and cell phone number to be available for you at any time if you needed us. we live only 20 min away and we will do everything to make your stay as convenient as possible.

A maximum of 2 Pets are permitted only upon prior written announcement and agreement with us. (regular pet fee C$ 30.00 per pet and stay)
Please remove droppings. Failure to comply with our pet regulation will cause a deduction of C$ 250.00 from the security deposit.

Smoking permitted only outside of the building and on the covered deck. Please remove butts.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Gunther (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
