Description

Estate Lepur situated in the same village, 8 km from the town of Benkovac, provides you with the opportunity to experience authentic Dalmatian hinterland. This extremely comfortable and fully equipped house offers accommodation for 10 + 2 persons. Built in the Mediterranean style, partly panelled with authentic country stone with traditionally equipped „crna kužina“ (dark kitchen) with indoor fireplace for preparing grilled and earthenware dishes, it will provide you with a real rustical atmosphere. In front of the kitchen there is a spacious covered terrace with a large dining table for twelve persons. Being on the terrace in the evening surrounded with easy-going people along with a glass of wine offers a memorable experience.

Next to the terrace there is a spacious hall for table tennis and in front of the house you can try bowling. You don't have to keep your car in the open since there is a garage.

This area, enriched with small hills is a great place for keen cyclists. Playing freely, breathing in fresh air, getting to know the nature and domestic animals are the main reasons for children's satisfaction.

The nearest beach, rich in medicinal mud, can be found in the place called Karin Donji. It is perfect for people who suffer from rheumatism and people with dermatological problems.

Apart from enjoying natural beauties, visitors have the opportunity to experience rich historical heritage since the remains of the large Roman-Liburnian settlement Asseria are part of this area. The findings are kept and exhibited in the Regional Museum in the Town of Benkovac.

We suggest visiting the castle Benković, several old churches and the surrounding villages where visitors can witness traditional lifestyle.

The City of Zadar, apart from rich cultural and historical heritage, offers a handful of events. Excursions to the national and nature parks such as the Paklenica, the Krka, the Plitvice, the Kornati and the Vrana are highly recommended.
