Description

La Cachette is a very lovely holiday home just 26km from Nice in the hills behind with beautiful views south. The village is C13th and charming. Little streets lead to the houses. Cars are parked in the square and so it is very peaceful. It allows access to skiing, sea, Italy the Riviera, Corsica and Sardinia. It is very well located and extremely comfortable with all the home from home essentials.

Families of 2 adults and 3 children stay every year. The house will sleep 6 - 4 in the bedroom - double bed and bunk beds and 2 on the sofa bed in the living room. Parents can be upstairs in a comfortable bed with amazing views and the children downstairs.

The furniture is all new and consists of a very comfortable double bed, an adult sized bunk bed in a bedroom with glazed French door with wooden shutters onto a small balcony. The room has a double wardrobe, bedside cabinet and chest of drawers. Upstairs in the living room is an expensive and therefore comfortable Sofa bed (5' double bed) with the most amazing views south to the Med. All the linen is Egyptian cotton and therefore cosy.

The house is well positioned for skiing in the region, walking, the amazing coast line of the Riviera and Italy. The islands of Corsica and Sardinia are just a short hop by ferry from the port at Nice.

There is so much to do and you are sure of a fabulous stay in this quiet house which really is a gem of a find I am sure you will agree.

Getting around

You need a car or motorbike to truly enjoy the region. there are busses to the village and a train to the next door village at L'escarane which will take you to Italy in one direction and Nice in the other.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Jonathan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
