RENT ONE CABIN TO ACCOMMODATE UP TO 6 GUESTS

RENT FISHER CABIN AND FISHER CABIN 2 RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO ACCOMMODATE 12!

CONTACT OWNER FOR 2-CABIN DISCOUNTS PRIOR TO BOOKING!

Fisher Cabin is a rustic log cabin getaway secluded in a forested mountain canyon deep in the Crazy Mountains of southwestern Montana. Fisher Cabin offers all the luxurious accommodations of home with its rustic log furniture, plush bedding and towels and linens, elegant dishware and cookware, oversize clawfoot bath with mountain views, and spacious loft.

Fall asleep at night listening to the rushing waters of Big Timber Creek, located just outside your door. Watch the sun set over the Crazy Mountains up the canyon from the floor to ceiling picture windows. Sip your coffee on the covered porch facing Big Timber creek as you watch the deer and the birds in their natural habitat.

Fisher Cabin lives up to its name. It's located on 160 leased acres of land deep in the heart of the Crazy Mountains. These acres are surrounded by miles and miles of private ranch land and Forest Service land. The nearest "city lights" are those of Big Timber- a quiet little Montana town 25 minutes away. You've never seen stars shine so brightly as you will here! Our guests enjoy exclusive access to over 1.5 miles of Big Timber Creek, one of the most enviable mountain fishing streams in Montana.

Big Timber Creek offers fantastic fishing possibilities to the novice or the experienced fisherman. This mountain glacial stream originates in the Crazy Mountains and flows through a forested mountain canyon which eventually spreads to a valley and then flows into the Yellowstone River near Big Timber. The amazing thing about Big Timber Creek is it is accessed almost entirely by private land. This means it is rarely fished and is therefore a treasure trove in Montana as a nearly untouched mountain trout stream.

There are other great fishing opportunities nearby as well. We recommend using Fisher Cabin as a base to explore the area! Hike into the mountains on one of several well-maintained walking trails and bring your fishing pole. Hidden at high altitudes are mountain lakes teeming with trout. Nearby rivers include the blue ribbon trout fishing of the Yellowstone River and the Boulder River.

If you love the outdoors, Fisher Cabin is perfect for you! There are tremendous hiking trails just out your back door. Take a 4 mile drive further up the canyon and you'll reach Halfmoon Campground and Trailhead. The Crazy Mountains are landlocked on nearly all sides by private land which makes it a largely untouched oasis. Halfmoon Campground offers one of the few public access points into the natural wonders of the Crazy Mountains. From there you can access many dozens of miles of hiking trails and explore hidden mountain lakes and mountaineer massive mountain peaks with dizzying 360-degree vistas.

When you come home after a day in exploring the Crazy Mountains you'll find everything in place for you relax! Enjoy a 43'' HDTV along with our modest movie library. We also stock a book library and game library for our guests' enjoyment. You'll find elegant dishware and cookware as well some stocked necessities in the kitchen. The kitchen offers all the comforts of home with stainless steel fridge, oven/stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher and more. Relax in front of the fireplace while taking in the breathtaking mountain views through floor to ceiling picture windows. We use only the softest sheets, the plushest towels and the finest finishes and fixtures to make your stay comfortable and elegant.

If you have a large group, ask about group discounts and reserve both our cabins (Fisher Cabin and Grizzly Cabin) on these 160 acres! While the cabins are spaced far enough apart you won't see or hear your neighbors, they are within easy walking distance and are ideal for a larger group which requires more space. We hope you'll stay with us because we are confident if you do, you'll want to come back year after year.

Additional amenities: Full Kitchen, Sofabed
