Description

Nestled on Bloomfield's Main Street, the Doctors House Bloomfield is in beautiful Prince Edward County. This home has been called The Doctors House by most of it's old time residents as it was the home of Dr. Cahoon and his family for over 56 years. This historic 4 bedroom home with large yard is walking distance to shops, restaurants and bike rental. Sandbanks beach and wineries within 10 minute car ride and only 5 minutes to Picton and grocery stores.

The Doctors House is a four season rental, perfect for girls a weekend or couples weekend. Upon arriving you will be greeted with some local wine and cheese. Some staples in the cupboard like coffee, salt and pepper and other miscellaneous items. A Provincial Park Pass will also be available with beach towels and toys. We are available in advance to help plan your holiday from theatre, wine tours to fabulous beaches and restaurants, Prince Edward County has something to offer everyone. During July and August the house is rented weekly with turnover day on a Friday.

There is bike rental within walking distance as well as e-bike rental. Millennium trail offers safe travel by bike to wineries and breweries. Car travel is a 10 minute drive to beach and wineries. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Wanda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
