Rustic and inviting, warm and friendly retreat, sleeps up to 12 people, suitable for couples or small family get-together!

Before reading further :Please note that this is an established, quiet, family oriented area, and the neighbours in the surrounding cluster of cottages have been there very peacefully for decades. This is not a party house.

Lower floor boasts two large log bedrooms each with its own balcony overlooking the hill and trees. Top floor has two more cosy bedrooms with an accessible widows walk and lots of light from skylights and large dormer hall. The main great room has a comfortable trundle bed which doubles as a cosy reading nook during the day.

Main level great room has two double french doors opening on to a large balcony; they are screened for gentle summer breezes. Front balcony with hammock is perfect for afternoon snoozes.

The large gourmet kitchen has every appliance necessary for meal preparation. We supply basic condiments, herbs and spices, cutlery, dishes and pots and pans.

The back patio off the kitchen has a table with chairs and a large grill for BBQ feasting!

There is a large dining area, and a play area with lots of games and toys. There is a large board game collection and books to enjoy for those who want to leave the technical world for a few days..

For those who need to stay connected: High Speed Internet with WIFI, a TV, DVD player and a Wii with games and controllers.

Linens are provided.

Located on Alpine Ski Club property, it is close to hiking and biking trails, swimming in Georgian Bay and at Blue Mountain. (Note that Hiking and Biking is not permitted on Alpine Ski club Property. The Georgian Trail and the Bruce trail are close by))

This property is in high demand for family reunions, yoga, craft and corporate retreats. There is plenty of room for all!

If you are interested in booking our lovely getaway, please tell us about yourself, your group, your expectations and plans for your stay. It is our sincere wish that we will be able meet your needs and get to know you a bit too. Before sending a quote or accepting a booking request it is our custom to know more about prospective guests and for us to share a bit about our family.

Our family has owned this property since 1964. Our father built the original A Frame chalet and my husband designed the log and timber frame addition 20 years ago. We are avid skiers and hikers and use the chalet year round. We are now three families sharing this lovely getaway, and we are very pleased to be able to share it with friends.

Our experience of so far has been excellent and we look forward to welcome more families to our chalet.

Please note:

Guests bring their own Bath Towels.

We provide linens (Bedsheets and Pillowcases) for an extra fee which shows by default on the Tripadvisor booking page. Please send an inquiry message if you would like to bring your own Linens ( all of the bed sizes are listed) I will send you a quote without the extra fee.

How do damage deposits work?
