Description

Whilst being attached to the owners Bed and Breakfast accommodation, the studio maintains a private feel with its own entrance on ground level. Situated in a slightly elevated position there are stunning panoramic views across the sea to the mainland and towards the Cuillin mountain range. Due to the semi-rural location and widespread tourist hot spots throughout the island, we highly recommend the use of a car when visiting the Bijou and Skye in general.

The living/sleeping/kitchen areas are open plan with a separate shower room with electric shower and heated towel rail. The kitchen area has a fridge, sink and ample storage. Seating area. The apartment is equipped with two single 3ft beds which can be attached to make a fabulous super-king bed. Please state which option you require when booking.

The studio accommodates 2 people only.

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO COOKER IN THE STUDIO**

We have gone to great lengths to provide the equipment required so as you can prepare a nice healthy meal, it might be a bit more of a challenge but it's possible to cook just about anything.

Kitchen equipment includes: Combination microwave oven, electric frying pan, George Foreman grill, electric steamer, electric slow cooker, fridge, kettle and toaster.

Skye buses are not frequent and not overly reliable. It is recommended if coming to Skye that you have a car, that way you can access all the hidden beauty spots. There are tours available if you want to be guided by the professionals. We are happy to advise on these and where to go and what to see when you are here.

I stayed 6 nights at the Bijou Hideaway. My stay was peaceful relaxing and comfortable. Angela and Derek have thought of everything that you need for a great stay. Everything is immaculately clean the furniture and decoration is first class. The king size bed is extremely comfortable I had a good nights sleep and was refreshed in the morning. The bedding is of good quality. The large tv with a good selection of channels and dvds to watch, also good wifi. The bathroom is well fitted with a good warm shower with toiletries supplied and nice soft towels. Breakfast in the morning was excellent from continental to a full cooked. Angela and Derek are lovely welcoming people who cannot do enough for you. The location is picture postcard and is peaceful and quiet.

My wife and I loved the Isle of Skye, a beautiful scenic destination and our accommodation made the stay even more enjoyable. The Bijou Hideaway Studio was a well equipped and appointed studio and the owners Angela and Derek are very friendly people who made us feel extremely welcome during our stay.
