Ideal for young families, the Garden Apartment of Casa do Castelo has secure private access to the pool and walled garden. Situated in the village of Coto which has a playground, cafes, family oriented restaurants and mini-markets. A short drive to 4 popular blue flag beaches: Foz do Arelho - lagoon (15 mins); San Martinho do Porto - sheltered bay (20 mins); Nazare - big surfing waves (25 mins), Baleal for surfing and bodyboarding (30mins).

The Apartment sleeps 6 comfortably with 3 bedrooms, two doubles and one twin, there is also a put-me-up bed and two cots available on request. The rest of the apartment is spacious open plan with line of sight from the kitchen area, through the dining area, lounge and across the terrace to the pool. The pool is fenced with a lockable gate.

We recommend hiring a car to get around. There are bus services, trains and taxis available.

The Villa is split into 2 apartments, the Garden apartment is available for rental for holidays from April till the end of October. The other apartment we (the owners) live in. So the larger garden area and pool are shared with us (Alison, James and Sophie). We're generally available if you have questions or a problem, though we're quite happy if guests want to keep to themselves and we won't intrude.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If James (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
