Description

If you are a cyclist, cross country skier, snowshoer, golfer, fisher or love nature, this is the cabin for you. We are situated in the village of Inglewood nestled in the Caledon Hills . In greenery, we are located 18 minutes from Brampton, 1.5 hrs from the Toronto Core and 50 minutes from Pearson Airport. Our cabin is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Deer, turkey, rabbits, heron, snakes, moles, coyotes, skunk, & raccoons are just a few friends you might lucky to see!

The space

The Great Trail, formerly known as Trans Canada Trail runs right through this property. Just a fifteen minute walk to the trail. We are located right beside the Caledon Country Golf Club. Beat the rush and start golfing early in the day.

Bring your tobogan! There are nice hills near by. Get back in touch with your "inner child" !

Fish the Humber River in Inglewood free. 2 minute drive or 18 minute walk from this cabin. You will need an Ontario fishing licence. Why not walk the Bruce Trail there?

Dinghy Boating

2 minute drive or 18 minute walk from this cabin. From Inglewood, float down the Humber river and mosey on to the cabin. From river 10 minute walk back to the cabin.

Like birds?

We have a few bird feeders that attract the most beautiful birds. Enjoy them swing by as you have a drink outside.

Approximately 264 bird species have been observed in the Credit River Watershed. 24 of the bird species detected in the watershed are considered to be Special Concern, Threatened, or Endangered.

Other things to note:

We are an eco cabin with "benefits". This cabin runs on wind, solar power, propane and two outlets. Enjoy Wifi, running water (hot&cold), shower, wood burning stove (we include firewood in the rental), propane heating, large bed heating pad, space heater, and camp fire pit. There is a small kitchenette including dishes, small fridge, cutlery, kettle, french press, burner, sugar-coffee-cream-honey, a few flashlights and toaster oven.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Angela (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
