Description

Women only in private upstairs room with extremely comfortable queen bed, luxurious pillows, quality linens, mini fridge and bathroom just outside the bedroom. The common area is very comfortable & the house is in a quiet area very close to the Children's & Foothill's Hospitals, UofC, Bow river bike paths, Edworthy park, Kensington shops and restaurants, Malls, DT Calgary and walking distance to the Riverside Spa. The back deck is large and private with a BBQ. Rent alone or with other room & Basement Suite

This property is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The room has 2 windows and is on the top floor at the back of the home and looking out at a park like setting. The environment is welcoming, relaxing and close to the river where there are walking paths that go all the way along the river through Kensington all the way to Princess Island Park and downtown. The best ice cream shop is just down the road.

I have 2 rooms available that are only rented to women and 1 per room so there is a possibility that you will have to share the bathroom if the other room is rented; however, it will be with 1 woman only.

If you would like it I can, for a $30 fee upfront, go to Safeway on your behalf and have your groceries waiting for you in the fridge and will send you a copy of the receipt. Just let me know if this is a service you would like and send me your shopping list and everything will be waiting for you when you arrive in town.

Getting around

There is a bus stop 1min from the house on Memorial Dr. that has a bus that will go DT in 15 min, to the Foothills Hospital in less than 5min (could walk there in 10min) and North Hill Mall in 10 min. Easy access to TransCanada Hwy and 1hr drive to Banff and Canmore in the mountains. Car or not this is a great location to have access to anything and everything.

Your space is very private and comfortable. However I am available if needed and the kitchen and lounge area are shared.

-This is a non-smoking home and there are no pets living in the house; however, it’s possible there will be a friendly dog that visits.
-The house is a quiet home and we want a calming healing atmosphere. There are no parties allowed and the breaking of this rule will lead to the guest being asked to leave immediately.
-A key to the room can be provided if you need it; however, if the key is not returned there will be a $25 replacement fee charged.

Why can't I call Jennifer (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jennifer (the owner) a message.

If Jennifer (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
