Welcome to our Peaceful Cabin in the country. Situated on 160 acres of woodland, surrounded by nature's backdoor, and a step away from Crown land with its breathtaking wilderness. Explore the West Country all year round. Quadding and snowmobiling in the backcountry as well as seasonal hunting and fishing. For some rest and relaxation, enjoy the deck by the flower garden, sit in front of the wood burning stove or by the firepit on those starry nights.

We have enjoyed our time at the Cabin and hope your experience is as relaxing and enjoyable as our visits to the Cabin have been.

In the Cabin you will find the kitchen fully equipped with basics, plates, cutlery, pots and pans, stove, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge/freezer & microwave. Just bring your favorite foods.

Bathroom includes Sink, toilet and shower. Towels included for use during stay.

The living room includes sofas, TV with DVD player, a selection of movies, board games and cards for your entertainment. The wood burning stove provides comfort and heat on those cold winter days. Split wood is provided.

Two bedrooms with cozy queen size beds, linens, blankets and pillows are provided.

Enjoy the flowergarden, pond and firepit around the yard. Split firewood is provided.

BBQ with propane is on the deck for all your grilling.

Guests rent the entire cabin and do not share with anybody else. We live on the quarter, but in a different residence away from the Cabin. We are available if needed, but respect your privacy.

Our cabin is good for couples, solo adventurers, artists, business travellers, or a weekend retreat.

Getting around

We are in the remote countryside, also known as West Country. Many RV vacationers enjoy camping to the west, as do horse and riding clubs, and hikers. Transportation is necessary as there is no bus, train or taxi service.

Interaction with guest

We live in a separate residence on the property, so we are available if necessary. We respect the privacy of our guests therefore we only interact if requested. But we would love to meet you!!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Diana (the owner) a message.

If Diana (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
