Casa Bermeja is traditional old stone farm cottage lovingly - restored to offer beautiful authentic accommodation for couples and is set in, probably, one of the most beautiful Natural Parks in Spain.The idyllic surroundings, peace and nature bely the fact you can also reach the buzz of coastal towns like Estepona and Marbella easily.The legendary sights of Seville, Granada, Jerez and Ronda can all be reached as day trips also.From parts of the eco-estate there are amazing views over the Straits of Gibraltar to N. Africa and walks in stunning mountain scenery straight out the front gate.So whether you'd just like to laze in peace by the pool enjoying the scents of jasmine and heather while watching eagles gliding on thermals overhead or explore the spectacular mountains or famous sights of Andalucia this enchanting casita offers the perfect base.

Casa Bermeja is a traditional 100-year-old stone cottage that has been lovingly restored retaining many original features such as seasoned chestnut beams and a cosy open fireplace. Designed as a romantic and stylish retreat for couples it boasts a king size double bed and comfy armchairs in the open plan living/sleeping suite. An antique arched door leads to the bathroom attractively decorated with hand painted tiles from Seville, while a second archway leads to a compact and well-equipped kitchen.There is a TV , CD,
DVD, and radio. A separate kitchen with hob, oven and fridge. Bathroom with shower. Iron and ironing board and use of washing machine in separate outside utility room.

The stone paved terrace outside the cottage is the perfect place for al fresco dining enjoying the delightful gardens equipped with a barbecue, table, chairs and sun umbrella for shade . The large beautiful private pool is a few steps away by some fragrant cypress trees and has teak sun loungers for lazing in the sun.

“Peace and quiet with stunning views for nature lovers”

My husband and I have just returned from a week at Casa Bermeja feeling rested and relaxed! The casa is on owner Kate's land but it is very private and you have your own beautiful, secluded pool which is a 2 minute walk down a hill lined with cypress trees (possibly not good for those with mobility issues as it's fairly steep). Kate was helpful, friendly yet was respectful of our privacy. Kate's dogs Emily and Alfie are very friendly and visited us each day, sometimes hanging out with us at the pool. She also has 2 cats, and 2 donkeys (who like carrots!) Casares is nearby (30-40 minute walk / 5-10 mins in car). We visited one day on foot and it was a 50 minute walk back up the hill in the heat (again if you have a car, only 5 -10 mins!) but well worth the visit! There's a supermarket there to stock up and it's a very pretty little village with winding streets, white washed houses and a few restaurants. We were mainly there for the peace and quiet, and spent most days sitting round the pool watching eagles and vultures soaring overhead and listening to the goat bells and enjoying the silence! Glorious views and Kate is very helpful if you need anything. Thanks Kate, we would love to return!

How do damage deposits work?

If Kate (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
