The castle is adjacent to a nature reserve with lush rolling green hills yet walking distance to an authentic Catalan village and only 8 km to the beautiful, medieval walled city of Girona and some of the area's top destinations for extraordinary food and wine. Award-winning, family-friendly beaches, gorgeous Mediterranean coastline with hidden coves (think the Côte d'Azur at a fraction of the price), and Spain's #1 rated golf course with Stadium layout are 30mins away.

A listed historic monument in Spain and Catalonia dating from the 10th-century, the unique architectural elements of the castle's original structure have been beautifully blended with a relaxed, contemporary aesthetic tailored for your comfort and enjoyment. The castle is a self-catering, private luxury retreat with all modern amenities and is attractively decorated with comfortable, original furnishings and art. The property is unique in that, while self-catering, we have a local English-speaking host to help your group settle in, answer questions, and provide insider tips to the very best of the area.

Bookings are for a ONE WEEK MINIMUM stay APRIL thru OCTOBER for groups of up to 14 guests. Children are welcome.

This site provides a calculation on a per night cost which is not what we provide. The castle cannot be booked on a nightly room-by-room basis.

The rental fee reflects the price of booking the ENTIRE property for a ONE WEEK MINIMUM. You do not share the castle with anyone else during your stay.

The best way to explore the area is by car but you also have the option of learning more about your specific interests with a local guide. If you would like to experience a market visit followed by a hands-on cooking course with a Catalan chef or tour a winery and learn about local wine making traditions, we will connect you with a local guide. Interaction with guest

Our English-speaking host will meet you at the castle and give you keys, a tour of the property, and help your group feel completely at home. She will be available at specific times during your stay to answer any questions and will happily give you insider tips only a local would have. She can assist with restaurant recommendations and making reservations and you will be able to call her at any time during your stay. We also provide a detailed 'Activities List' with information and suggestions of a wide range of things your group might like to see or do.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If William (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
