Fully equipped and comfortably accommodates 5 people.

The house has one big terrace, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 1 W.C. and 3 bedrooms (1st: double bed - room with window; 2nd: 1 single bed - interior room; 3rd: double sofá bed - interior room).

A homely little house situated in the center of a small town called Cercal do Alentejo, in an exceptionally lovely part of Portugal in an area called the Alentejo Litoral, very close to the nearby holiday resorts of Vila Nova de Milfontes and Porto Covo at only 15minutes drive from the house.

This is the main resort of the Portuguese from Lisbon as it is nearer and less crowded and commercialised than the Algarve. It is therefore a much more authentic experience of Portuguese culture and hospitality than its more famous southern cousin.

We are in the Parque Natural de Costa Vicente which offers thousands of kilometres of country and coastal pathways – all posted by which the natural flora and fauna can be discovered and enjoyed in its natural setting.

The area teams with wildlife and we have many rare birds due to being in the Parque Natural. The coast is a short drive away and there is a direct bus to Lisbon each day for only 15 euros per person. Lots of water sports are available in Vila Nova de Milfontes and there is a very good Safari Park just 40 kilometres up the coast near Santiago de Cacem.

Cercal do Alentejo is a lovely traditional village in the Alentejo Litoral which offers all the amenities you could possible need including: bank + ATM, market, supermarket, bakery, butchers, Post-office, bars/cafes and a couple of restaurants. This means you can take a short walk (2-5mins) to access everything from the house. It is very friendly and used to tourists - there are many country walks close by and cycling is also possible.

There are festas and baillies during the year.

There is a vegetable and fish market every morning.

Local buses are available if somewhat infrequent but we are usually able to take people to the coast or nearby towns if transport is needed at very low cost.

The main bus to Lisbon/Lagos passes through the villages (and stops!) everyday.

Faro and Lisbon airports at 1h45min drive.

How do damage deposits work?
