Description

Set on 5 panoramic acres, with floor to ceiling windows that afford unobstructed water views, this 4 bedroom chalet-style cottage captures the essence and pace of island life. Moments from golf courses, beaches, fine cuisine and amenities, the chalet is perfectly positioned to provide the opportunity to sample a wide range of activities in the area.

The open concept cathedral chalet has a wall of windows that face outward to an expansive lawn area, excellent for outdoor games and activities. The area also boasts a large brick fire pit ideal for those cool evenings under the setting sun. A large wrap around deck equipped with a barbeque and rattan furniture expands the living space to the outdoors. A fully equipped kitchen is complemented by a spacious corner island which provides extra seating during mealtimes, and the century old teak dining table comfortably seats 8 adults. Three bedrooms and a full bath are located on the main level with the master and ensuite located on the upper loft area. The cottage is also equipped with washer and dryer facilities and has an outdoor shower to provide a refreshing rinse after returning from a beachside stroll or swim. Exotic wood furnishing (to be added to the property in June - see additional photos) collected from our extensive travels around the globe, create a rich zen-like ambience that transcends a serene and calming air of relaxation.

Other things to note:

In December 2017 the property was purchased from the previous owners, hence we will be undergoing some renovations/updates to make the chalet even more appealing (prior to bookings in June/July). The furnishings will be changed (please see images with descriptions) to create a Balinese-style vibe. All new kitchen, bed and bath linens will be updated as well!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Renee and Scott (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
