Come and explore the majestic beauty of central Vancouver Island while enjoying your visit at Bates Beach Hideaway. This NEWLY constructed Hideaway will provide you with incredible sunrises, spectacular sunsets, local wildlife, campfires, beachcombing, mountain biking, boat cruises, nature tours, gold courses,scuba diving, hiking and fishing, local museums and plenty more.

The Bates Beach Hideaway was designed and constructed for one sole purpose, our guests. You will find a high level of thought and detail went into this home, where the goal of providing a healthy, safe, environmentally friendly, relaxing stay was paramount.

When you 1st view the Hideaway you will see that the home has lots of character and personality. The main entrance to the home is a covered veranda with plenty of seating for those rainy days and with access to the main back yard and flower gardens. As you walk through the main entrance you will be pleased to see the post and beam construction with 15' vaulted ceilings, four sky lights, wood floors, a full kitchen, Infrared fireplace, a cozy bedroom plus a bright and warm bathroom.

The bedroom has a very comfortable new queen size bed, WiFi, Bose' Bluetooth Music , a large window /w blinds, wall plugins complete with USB ports for charging your mobile devices, privacy door, storage, plus a full size washer and dryer to ensure that you have clean and dry cloths.

The living room area has very comfortable seating, complete with leather love seat, a very relaxing chair, area rug and a small coffee table. The new flat screen television sits on top of the fireplace and comes with a large assortment of movies.

The kitchen is beautifully designed and decorated with granite counter tops, a large Island for eating, double sinks, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and ample storage. You will love cooking in this modern kitchen with fresh local grown products.

The bathroom is very cozy and warm with heated porcelain floor tile, rain shower, large vanity and plenty of natural lighting overlooking the backyard and fire pit.

There are additional sleeping quarters located in a private Studio just steps away. The Studio contains a very comfortable double bed, couch, chair, television and DVD player with a large assortment of movies. It's ideal should you need that extra little bit of space for an additional middle age family member. (Extra charge for use.)

This Vacation Rental is only a 3 minute walk to the Ocean, where you see wildlife, cruise ships, whales and much more. There's a great local fishing spot just of off Bates Beach that has been famous for years and has landed some of the largest salmon in the area.

The Backyard is very large, private and comes with a relaxing fire pit, raised heated garden and plenty of local flowers.

Just sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery and relax.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Patrick (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
