Description

This newly designed home has all the things to make your stay great for a getaway up Mt Washington Alpine Resort. It’s centrally located close to everything in the Valley. The home features a brand new custom gazebo with hot tub and water fall rain shower. 3 brand new comfy beds, and a pull out couch and futon. The entire suite can sleep up to 9 people. Big dinning table, hot tub, gas fireplace and big open concept living area. The space is perfectly setup for larger groups, who wish to sight see in the Valley or go up Mount Washington. It’s ok for a private getaway, but please note there are neighbours. The suite is located on the top floor of a two story house. Although there is another suite below you, the upper suite is completely soundproofed and private from the lower suite. The large living room is perfect for relaxing and hosting your group, and the fully equipped kitchen is stocked with everything to cook a fabulous dinner. The home can sleep up to 9 guests. Enjoy some amenities such as a big clean hot tub in a big beautiful gazebo complete with an outdoor shower and new woodfired sauna. There is a covered patio lounging area that is complete with a big BBQ and fire pit. Perfect for relaxing during the nights:) The house is centrally located in Courtenay and is walking distance to just about everywhere. 25 minute drive to Mount Washington Alpine Resort.

We also use allergen free, non toxic, environmentally friendly, fragrance free cleaning products to clean our space.

Please note that because there are people around you, there may be a potential for noise. This may not be the ideal situation for a couple who is looking for a quiet getaway experience.

House rules

No more guests than allowed at check in. Dinner gatherings are ok, but excessive noise is not so cool. The house is a shoe free zone, so please take off your shoes at the front door. Feel free to bring slippers, as the house has no carpeted rooms. There is one flight of stairs to get into the house, just wanted to mention. Please absolutely no smoking in the house, but feel free to smoke out on the deck as long as you dispose of butts in provided cans (as to not damage the vinyl decking) :)

Why can't I call Steve (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Steve (the owner) a message.

If Steve (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
