Casa da Figueira Grande is located in Covilhã (Castelo Branco) - Portugal, in the highest mountains of Portugal (Serra da Estrela). we can find a beautiful house with colonial architectural features. The accommodation will provide you with a full bathroom, a kitchen to make your own meals, living rooms, bar, reading room. Overseas we can find a beautiful garden that surrounds the house, with a balcony and a patio, a swimming pool, barbecue, a tennis court.You can enjoy mountain view and pool view from all the rooms. The property is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and fruit groves. Silence and calm are the main feature for those visiting us. Beyond that the house is close to the historic villages, Serra da Estrela Natural Park, ski resort and Beira Interior University (UBI). At Casa da Figueira Grande you will find free bikes and other facilities offered at grocery store, a shared lounge and a games room. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including golfing, cycling and hiking.

You can move by car (rent a car) or request from the owner, a taxi guide service or tourist guide. Once we are located in the countryside, you can make walks on foot, by the pedestrian routes, around the house

464/5000 I am the owner and host of the House. I live on the same property as guests, but separate. I am always available to collaborate with guests in everything they need. I can make guided tours to the nearest city Covilhã and show places of interest in the region. I´m a Portuguese Chef and make for you a typical Portuguese meal with advance reservation I welcome guests and speak English, French and Spanish fluently.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
