Description

Welcome to our lakeside retreat where you can always hear the waves and feel the sunshine! Our freshly renovated and updated cottage is on the shores of Lake Erie in Crystal Beach. Our cozy cottage has three bedrooms, one bath and an expansive living and dining area overlooking the lake.

All of the comforts of home are here including dinnerware, cookware, linens and towels, propane BBQ, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Complimentary WiFi is available for rainy days inside and we have a nice, warm gas fireplace for cooler nights in the fall or winter. Start your mornings enjoying your morning coffee on the front deck and kick back in the evenings with a cocktail around the fire pit.

Just around the corner (less than a one minute walk) are our Crystal Beach Waterfront Park and Boat Launch as well as local dining and beach area. You can walk to the main public beach area off of Erie Road in less than 15 minutes. We are just down the street from the Crystal Beach Tennis & Yacht Club, if you have friends staying there and we are a five minute drive to the Buffalo Canoe Club, which makes this a great spot for private club members.

We are bungalow style living all on one floor and bedroom layouts are as follows:

Bedroom 1 – double bed (sleeps 2)

Bedroom 2 – twin bunk beds (sleeps 2)

Bedroom 3 – twin trundle bed (sleeps 2)

Auxiliary – we allow two extra children if you care to bring an air mattress

Take a short drive up the highway into downtown Niagara Falls where the attractions are endless! Families should check out Clifton Hill, The Bird Kingdom, Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, Marineland and Niagara Hornblower Boat Cruises (formally Maid of the Mist) to get up close and personal to the roaring Falls. We highly recommend taking some extra time to cruise up the Niagara Parkway to the Falls to enjoy one of the most beautiful drives in the province.

Locally, we have many activities to enjoy like several public beach areas, Farmer’s Markets, live thoroughbred racing at Fort Erie Race Track, historic sites such as Old Fort Erie and the Ridgeway Battlefield, Safari Niagara and local dining and shopping.

The region also boasts countless golf courses such as Thundering Waters, Legends on the Niagara and Whirlpool. Tour historic Niagara-on-the-Lake and their many wineries like Jackson Triggs, Chateau des Charmes or Inniskillin.

Our yard is separated from the lake by a small break wall. The shoreline in this section of the lake is shale and not sand. We offer central air in summer time to help cool things off.

This home is best enjoyed by traveling families and we do not make considerations for large group of young adults. Dogs are considered, but please ask first to make sure we are a great fit for your furry friend.

Longer term monthly pricing in the off season is also available for relocations, short term work assignments and other temporary real estate needs.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
